Hampshire cottages

Restful, quiet, clean, tasteful decor. We had a lovely few days lazing around by the fire and doing nothing much at all!

We loved staying at Weir Cottage, Shane welcomed us and explained different procedures for the cottage. Location was good and the information given to us by Shane was very helpful.

The cottage was a lovely old building. Well equipped. The road noise was a bit loud as the windows had gaps but overall a good stay.

Excellent, nice friendly people would certainly rent again.

I stayed at Peppercorn Cottage with my husband, 3yo, ten-month old and our dog and it was heaven. It's an adorable house, packed with character and beautifully done out. We had everything we needed and Nicola was very helpful in bringing over kids bits and answering any questions. Cheriton is a lovely village; Arlesford is great for small independent shops and the countryside is gorgeous. We had a great weekend all in all and would love to come back.

This property was spotless and well equipped. It is a bit ‘off the beaten track’, but in a lovely location and within walking distance of an excellent village shop. There is another property adjoining this one. The provision of a swimming pool enhanced this property greatly. Although we only met the host, Helen, twice she was most pleasant and helpful. Would certainly recommend this accommodation if one is looking for peace and solitude and yet it is only about 5 miles from Romsey.

Very sweet little cottage, ingeniously fitted with everything we needed for a short stay. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and look round the grounds, seeing the other cottages. The only drawback with the Old Post Office is its nearness to the main road: in hot weather one might want to open the windows for air - but then the noise also.

My friend and I spent a fabulous 3 days in this truly stunning cottage. David and Deepti really have thought of everything to make for a magical stay. The quality of the furnishings and decor is second to none. So stylish and comfortable. Added to which the access to their beautiful gardens leading down to the river was the icing on the cake. Would highly recommend to anyone.
