Lovely cottage and welcoming host. Great location to explore the area and come back to peace and quiet.

An ideal venue for me so that I could visit friends but have a 'pied a tere'. I'll definitely book again

Our stay at Piglet Cottage was absolutely lovely, we could’ve stayed forever. Home from home & Gill was the ideal host, brought us a lovely bottle of wine. Fabulous communication on booking, & a week before we were due to arrive, to give us directions & information about the college. Lovely location & beautiful views, lovely walks. The Hare & Hounds about a 5 minute walk was a lovely village pub, roaring fires, beautiful food, great beer, & was made to feel so welcome. All in all a lovely few days away, with Hebden Bridge very close with great shops & cafes.

Loved our stay at Lantern Cottage. Setting and cottage is gorgeous. Everything you could need to a lovely relaxing holiday. Even though the weather wasn’t great we managed to do a bit of exploring of the coastal paths, along with the seaside resort of Scarborough and Filey. Even when the weather didn’t work with us, we enjoyed spending time in the cottage relaxing. Hot tub was great, and jacuzzi bath was a lovely addition on not so great days. The scenery was amazing, even on misty days when the surroundings felt they could have been from a film. Loved the personal little touches when we arrived such as champagne and chocolates. Would definitely recommend and return to Lantern Cottage.

A well equipped cottage in a beautiful location. Greeted with a welcome hamper full of Yorkshire treats and a tasty homemade cake. We didn’t meet the owners as they were away but their son was at hand and we also received an email to check in on us which I was a nice touch. A peaceful place to holiday and thoughtfully kitted out, it was like home from home.

Just spent a week at this amazing property it was exceptionally clean had everything you need and is of high quality with a view out of this world. So many places to visit and excellent restaurants in Holmfirth about 3 miles away. Hosts were so friendly and nothing too much trouble
