Dolgellau cottages

Beautiful cottage nestled away, but close enough to Barmouth gor easy access to the beach and shops. Remarkably clean with everything you need. A great enclosed garden for the litle one to run around in. A great find and look forward to visiting again!

We had an amazing stay for Christmas, the cottage was beautifully decorated with Christmas music playing on our arrival. It had everything we needed for a family of four and is in a beautiful location for beach and hill walk, and Gary was on hand of we needed anything We would definitely visit again.

We were totally impressed with the superb cottage & even more so with the host —Gary ! He was charming , courteous & very helpful . (Not forgetting cute little Misty , the dog ! ) As we are both totally deaf , we appreciated his patience with us in communicating…& he was easy to Lip read ! Thanks a lot Gary ..you made our holiday !

Penybryn is simply perfect. Total peace and quiet, with everything you could want in a setting of amazing beauty -- watch the weather over the mountains, watch the animals, relax and do nothing, or explore more of North Wales. Gwerfyl and Mark are great hosts. We had a wonderul week and would love to come back again -- this is one of the very best places that we have stayed in in Wales.

Property was very smart. More detail about location of public car park would be useful. Closeness of railway line not mentioned in the blurb.

Delightful home with amazing views of the mountains. There was everything we could possibly need for our family including quality bedlinen and towels. Gwyneth was a delight to communicate with. We were surprised to see cake and wine to greet us on arrival....how nice is that! The home is up a steep hill (hence the fab views) and would be difficult to climb for someone older or physically challenged. We did the climb a few times but then opted to use the car as parking is really easy just over the bridge in the village. A great stay. Lovely and clean. Great showers in this heat. Big enough for all of us to be together but not on top of one another. Space outside for the children to play too!

We loved this cottage. Amazing views when you are relaxing in the cottage and a short drive to Coed Y Brenin which is why we chose this location. Would go again.
