Holiday rentals near Salona

Stanic is a good base for exploring Split, without being in the hussle and bustle of town. About 15 mins walk to old town and beach (with a dogey knee). Found the place spotless and everything we needed. The host, Tonci welcomed us to the apartment and was available for anything we needed during our stay.

The house is well positioned for local small pebble beach access. There was a lot of construction on at the time which was t explained until we arrived, it wasn’t disruptive to us but some may have found it so. This is for a new beach and apartment complex which will significantly improve the amenities and look of the area, due completion in 2025. Mosquitoes and biting insects were initially an issue but a plug an and good old mosquito repellant soon sorted that. The house was brilliant and the facilities - dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, etc were great, the fitness equipment was good too. The pool is big enough to get some exercise in and was always a great temperature and very refreshing. Our host was very welcoming, accommodating and responsive.

Extremely quiet, clean, spacious property with good working air conditioning in all rooms. It is located within walking distance of the beach area, (5 minutes), many bars and restaurants, hairdressers, beauticians and a grocery store. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk away with half hourly buses to the airport, Split city and Trogir (worth a visit) Maria is extremely kind and helpful. Thank you Maria, we would definitely stay at your property again.

We had the most amazing holiday, our lovely little cottage with fruit trees in the garden, a river at the bottom of the gaeden, with ducks and wildlife on tap, surrounded by mountains, and trees. The cottage is well equipped caters for all needs, good wi, comfortable homely space. Our host Miro and Ana were lovely so very kind and nothing was a problem, good location for supermarket, a lively restaurant, a quint little bar, and the bus stiop Only minutes away to go venture out and explore we loved it so much we are booking to return next year, if you want to just recharge and chill this is the place for you

Quirky and twisty, but definitely captures old Split. Don’t expect luxury, but the beds are comfy, the shower is powerful, the kitchen is functional and the air conditioners are a god send.

This villa is amazing! We absolutely loved staying here, it was a perfect property for our group holiday (ladies aged 49-55). The room sizes are very spacious, decor is lovely and fresh, it is spotlessly clean and was well equipped to meet all our needs. On the upper floor each bedroom has access to a balcony. Downstairs kitchen and living area are open plan and is also to a very high standard. We loved relaxing in the spacious outdoor seating area which overlooks the well kept pool and garden area. Henry and his wife were so very helpful with everything , personalising our trip celebrating friends birthdays, arranging airport transfers, booking activities in advance and giving restaurant recommendations. They were super helpful and friendly and kept in contact from time of booking and throughout our stay, we couldn’t have asked for more…they were wonderful. The villa location is peaceful, yet only 50metres to a well stocked supermarket. 5-10 minute walk to the sea front, 20 minutes walk into Stobrec where we enjoyed paddleboarding with Adriatic SUP. Uber into Split took around 15 minutes. Overall this property everything we could have wanted and more! We would all come back here without hesitation and can highly recommend it in every way. The location is absolutely perfect, tucked away so it is quiet at night but within walking distance to all the nightlife and amenities you could ask for. The hosts were so helpful with taxis and other information and we would highly recommend this for a couple! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again.
