Lake District National Park farm rentals

Lovely homely cottage. Everything we needed bbq, car parking very comfy bed.Mosedale perfect for walking straight from the cottage. Did not use the car throughtout our stay. Need to be organised with food n drink as there are no shops locally.Pub 30 mins walk away on very quiet road. Very relaxing break lovely sunny garden. Had the most perfect 5 days

Excellent facilities and finish around whole property.

The cottage is in great location for walking and accessing the Derwent water, if you have a Kayak. Fantastic views and a well equipt cosy cottage, We had a great stay I would recommend

Wow! What a fabulous little cottage hidden down a little lane with the most spectacular views over Ullswater. Initially booked to take my mum away on holiday but following her sudden passing a week before the trip, we made the decision to still make the pilgrimage in her honour and we were not disappointed. Margaret and Phil, you have the most beautiful house, everything we could possibly need and your communication and kindness was exceptional. We cannot fault this holiday home and it was so central for everything. Views were changing by the minute depending on the weather, it was all so magical and helped to provide us with the tranquility that we so badly needed. Would definitely re book.

We wanted a cosy, comfortable, well presented and quiet escape over new year, everything detailed in the advert for this property is correct. Caters well if you’re travelling with dogs. Lovely remote location next to the lake with great views and no one overlooking you. We have rebooked for another visit later this year. Just Perfect ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The photos of the lodge don’t do it justice it was lovely and one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in. The tea coffee and sugar were a nice touch as was the doggie box.

Nice quiet location, not far from Ambleside amenities without the need for a car
