Lovely river house

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous property! The atmosfere is incredibly relaxing, making it the perfect getaway to explore the Cognac area. A special thanks to Alice and her friends for their warm hospitality. The hosts were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our dog Ziggy, also had a wonderful time exploring the estate and enjoying the beautiful park. Additionally, the Gardner was lovely and very helpful too, adding to the overall charm of the place.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the nature and the beautiful surroundings.

Lovely gite with amazing pool & surrounds

The gite was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a very relaxing holiday. In particular we loved the pool and garden around it which is beautifully maintained. A very quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and getting away from the stresses of working life. Friendly, helpful but unobtrusive host was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t ask for more!

Beautiful Logis with charming grounds to explore

Fantastic - even better than the pictures!

We had the most wonderful relaxing stay! The house is beautiful. It’s been put together really nicely inside and the kitchen is particularly nice and well equipped. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere where the owners clearly care about the quality of the interior and the overall guest experience. Lovely pool and outside eating area - plenty of room for all guests. Large garden and table tennis. The area is rural and peaceful, with activities such as kayaking within a 20 min drive. Supermarkets similar. We were very sad to leave and wished we had another week! Thank you Ashley and Maxine.

Excellent

The hosts of this property have made it a true home from home. We have no children but there are activities for everyone covering all age ranges. The gite was spotless and very comfortable. All the appliances are top end with nothing missing. We know the area well so did not need any advice, but the hosts are very knowledgeable if required. Highly recommend.

Family time in Congac Cottages

From the time of booking Monica, was more than helpful in supporting us with ensuring our stay was one to remember. The property was excellent, everything we had wanted this holiday. We recently stayed at L'Ancienne-Distillerie-Otard during a house hunting trip in the area. The welcome was warm and friendly and the accommodation very spacious and comfortable. The location is tranquil and restful. The attention to detail in the tourist information was the best we have ever come across on our many trips over.
