Great peaceful cottage

Had an excellent stay in Mitcheldean. The house is very nice with lots of little touches that made a big difference (well equipped kitchen, board games etc.).Peaceful location with access to lots of nice walks nearby.Host was lovely and even made us some homemade treats for when we checked in. Would definitely recommended!

24 at St John's is a 200 year old miners cottage with lots of charm.Constructed in forest stone it has a cottage feel with a modern twist. A home from home in a peaceful location with the forest, amenities and sought-after attractions close by

We booked this property as we wanted to explore the Forest of Dean and it didnt disappoint with its proximity to everything. The local town doesnt have much to see but if your driving then there is plenty to see and do. The house was perfect a real home away from home, the beds were really comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep, including the dogs!!The hottub was perfect after a day out walking through the forest.

Wedding preperations

We were visiting Cheltenham, so that the family could get together prior to our sons wedding. The house beautiful and had enough space for people to have some time on their own if needed.It felt like we were living in a taste of history.The only thing I would say is the when cooking for 18 people some extra pans would have been nice. But that didn't stop us having a wonderful 3 nights.
