An absolute gem of a place to unwind for a few days and explore the area

My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to properly heat up if not used all day for reference. Cooking facilities are just perfect, and shower is nice and warm. Bed comfy and my Teenage daughter would happily go back again! Take Marshmellows and choc hobnobs to make Smogs over the fire pit!
