South Wales rentals with pool

We stayed a week at number 1 with our two children, who both have additional needs. We booked high point due to the private pool, of which is available for a 2 hour slot per day. From start to finish we were blown away, the apartment, pool and grounds are finished to such a high standard, immaculately clean, with little extras thrown in, coffee pods, tea towels, hand soap, washing up liquid to name a few and that’s without mentioning the softest bedding we have ever slept in! Louise and Dave greeted us with a warm welcome after a 6 hour drive. We felt at home from the start, and this didn’t change for the entire week. Louise and Dave couldn’t have done more for us, always on hand to offer advice on places to visit, letting us borrow board games for our two children, any ask of ours wasn’t ever too much trouble. We were particularly worried about our children (and the dog) making noise due to Louise and Dave living on site. However we were reassured straight away, in Dave’s words “everyone deserves a holiday, please don’t worry” We cannot put into words just how amazing high point is! We feel we have found a very rare gem of a place, with the kindest, compassionate hosts who have truly put their hearts and souls into making other people’s holidays memorable. Stayed before, this place is so lovely to stay at. Everything you need and a great way to relax.

We had a lovely stay here, for the price we had everything we needed, and the pool was such an added bonus. For us it was a shame there weren't many footpaths directly near the cottage, but there are so many attractions in a short drive it didn't really matter.

It has the same post code with mansion house , but go further up the hill until you can see the sign board called Elmrise park . It is one hour and thirty minutes ride either to the Blue lagoon or the Barafundle bay beach of South Wales . The chalet is good in terms of location , and accessible only by riding a car or a van .

Very close to sea and town. Fully equipped apartment. Great off road parking. Very thoughtful touches with welcome goodies. Thanks very much for a great stay.

Great property when you have young children, as grounds and pool ideal. The pool booking system needs updating as we often could not book a morning slot, but this did not distract from the holiday as the pool was open to all from 4 pm. The 8-9am family slot was a little too eatly for us!! Maybe allow a couple of cottages to book between 10am-4pm -, we certainly wouldn't have minded if another family joined us. Is this system for the people who own the cottages and are onsite, maybe?? The owner was easily contactable when the cleaners arrived late and the issue was sorted quickly and the owner was very obliging letting us book out at 10.30 am and not 9 am. The surrounding area is easily reached and lots of fun parks nearby, as are the beaches. Overall we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay at Cartwright Cottage.
