Perfect for our group of friends for a 50th celebration. All the bedrooms are great, everywhere was clean daily cleaners were lovely, would highly recommend

We booked this villa knowing it was a little bit of a way from the coast etc, however numerous supermarkets are only a 10 minute drive, Villamoura within 20 minutes & Loule itself 10, so not an issue with a car. When we arrived we were met by Julian who showed us all the necessary things we needed to know. We could not believe the size of the villa, photos do not do it justice. There was 13 of us ranging from 2 to 78 and did not feel in each other's way the whole time. All the bedrooms are a really good size, air con was a bonus as were the shutters especially with a 2 year old who thinks she gets up when the sun does. We cannot recommend the maintenance of this property highly enough. One night some of our party were in the pool at 10.30pm at night and the lights went out, also noticed the pool heating switch wasn't on so I let Julian know, within 15 minutes someone had fixed it. Also as the Euro's were on we were having trouble watching some of the matches, within a couple of days a box was installed so we had access in time for the England Match. The pool area was amazing and we all spent many hours chilling out around it. The addition of a very large fridge outside was a big bonus as meant we could get drinks without traipsing water everywhere. Also had a couple of Barbeques. Fresh pool/bath towels were left when needed and rubbish collected daily. Pool was also checked daily. A fab time was had by all, sad to leave and would love to return at some point.

Property was still being prepared 2hours late Property was non smoking but stank of smoke (previous guests?, cleaners?) Pool was full of flies so had to clean myself. Marble surface in the kitchen was cracked and we were told no to use it, so didn’t have a functioning kitchen for the visit. Only bedding was a thin blanket or a stained duvet without a cover so had to but our own bedding on arrival. The smaller items we would expect weren’t provided such as mirrors in bedroom, or dishcloths in the kitchen. All of the above could have been managed but the agent wasn’t interested. Inexperienced and under qualified to help guests enjoy their holiday. I will personally steer clear of any property run by Seashell Property management again. We get too few holidays in this day and age and they ruined our experience. They shouldn’t be allowed to do that. They weren’t available they insisted I wrote to them as they didn’t want yo talk and they did nothing or offered nothing to rectify the situation. I hope no one else suffers this.
