Homely bungalow in great location

The bungalow was exactly as described. It was really homely and very well equipped. It’s in a great location and you can get to the beach and town in a 10 minute walk. The Bude beaches are lovely and having the beach hut was a real bonus. Our family used it most days. After a busy day body boarding or exploring the area, it was a lovely to know that you were heading back to a really comfortable holiday home. We would really recommend it and would certainly go back.

Beautiful, well equipped home in perfect location

Home is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a really well equipped kitchen stocked with the bits needed for cooking. Has a lovely spot out the front which is sunny all morning, and a long pretty garden at the back which gets plenty of sun in the afternoon. Great location on the canal, and a 5 min walk along the canal to get to Summerleaze beach (except at high tide when you have to walk the longer way around) and 5 - 10 min walk into town. Joe is really friendly and helpful, and his post office (2 mins walk away) stocks some very tasty home made pasties and cakes.

Baywatch

This is the perfect place to stay if you like the convenience of a short walk to the beach. The view of the beach is exceptional The property is presented beautifully, with many thoughtful finishing touches that make a big difference.

Fantastic family stay!

We had a lovely stay here when we visited Bude for the week for a family holiday. The house is bright, clean and beautifully decorated. It is situated perfectly for the beach and walking into town. We got into surfing and wish we could have stayed longer! 100% recommend if visiting Bude.

Combermere Cottage

A really well-appointed and comfortable cottage, with great views over Bude (the photos on the website don’t really do it justice). The cottage is ideally located - very quiet but only a few minutes walk from Bude, from the beach and from the coast paths.

Wonderful Windrush

We spent a fabulous week at Windrush in Stratton. Emma and Scott are great hosts and we’re on hand if any questions. The property itself was so inviting, spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a family stay. Stratton itself is a gorgeous little village with a great little grocery shop, a butchers and a couple of pubs. It’s about a 5 minute drive into Bude, a lovely town with a number of different shops, cafes, and a gorgeous beach where we spent most of our time. We made use of Scott’s kind discount for surf lessons which we thouroughly enjoyed! It was a great location which we did do some travelling from. We visited Port Isaac, Polzeath, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle. All approximately 40 minutes away. We did also take a trip to Lizard Point, a 2 hour drive, absolutely worth it and stopped at Fistral Beach, Newquay on our way back. We all loved our week in Cornwall and waking up in and coming back to “Windrush” at the end of our day. Thanks Emma and Scott. The Hopkins’ x
