Holiday rentals near Clatteringshaws Loch

A terrific holiday in a wonderful property in an area we now want to return to.

The cottage is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. It's very dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. It's in a good location, close to local amenities and the wonderful Kirroughtree Forest Park. We'll be back for our third stay next year. It's worth noting the best access road is up in front of the Kirroughtree House Hotel and not straight up through the Conifer Lodges past Auchendoon, as that particular road has large potholes that are difficult to navigate without bumping the underside of your car. Via the hotel is a smooth ride.Overall, a great place.

This house is wonderful for big family gatherings. We loved it. The space is fabulous, kitchen well stocked and the dining room is lovely for big family meals. The breakfast table was superb for sitting and enjoying watching the birds on the feeders. So quiet and peaceful and lovely walks.

The property was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. An excellent centre for a holiday.

We had a wonderful week with our children and dog in this beautiful farmhouse. The location is incredible - 2 miles up a disused railway track - a brilliant spot to do nothing but walk, swim and watch the house martins swoop for the midges and build up their mud cup nests below the eaves.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this comfortable cosy cottage in the lovely village of New Galloway. The cottage was nice and warm, very clean, and the bed / furniture was very comfortable. The very generous welcome pack of bread, butter, milk and a bottle of wine was a lovely surprise! Also fantastic countryside .... we're sure to be back!!
