Chirk Station holiday lettings

We’ve just had a great 4 night stay at this very comfortable and modern converted barn. The view from the balcony through the double bi-fold doors is extremely relaxing with donkeys, cows, horse and pheasants in the adjoining fields and paddocks. Although rural, Whitchurch and Wem are just a short drive for amenities. Parking is behind a private gated entrance. Highly recommended - in fact we’ve already booked a return visit.

People in the community are welcoming and hospital. The host was very kind to come get us when we got lost. She made us enjoy our stay more. The location is very serene, clean and homely. We had a beautiful stay and I recommend always.

We just loved this cottage, spotless and well equipped for our stay in North Wales. Beautiful location lovely views, wished I had bought my binoculars, as we could hear the cry of birds of prey over the forest but too far away to see them clearly. Lovely walk along Lady Bagots Drive. The dog loved paddling in the river just below the foot bridge. Watch out for roaming pigs in the forest and friendly sheep in the field that come running to greet you. Great as a base to explore the area to be honest a week wasn’t long enough, so we hope to return soon. Helen and Tony are top notch hosts. So helpful and gave us pointers of what to see. The beds were really comfortable, no tossing and turning here for me with my dodgy hips!! Just a good nights sleep. If you want peace and tranquility this place could be for you. We have returned home much refreshed. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in honeysuckle cottage. It was Clean, well maintained, comfortable in such beautiful surroundings. We took our cockapoo with us and she enjoyed the freedom of the gardens. Peter the owner met us as we arrived, very friendly and extremely helpful of where to go and visit. A group of 7 friends rented this lovely property for a week. It was very well situated for walking and visiting areas around and about. Would happily go there again.
