St. Lawrence Gap villas

Would most certainly stay at the Villa again.Location is excellent .Villa spotless,beds comfortable.cannot think of anything negative to say.Close to absolutely everything.6Stars.

Fantastic property right on Freights bay which was ideal for us as we were keen to spend time surfing! Lovely spacious, light and bright property, in walking distance from Oistins (bars, restaurants, supermarket and fishmarket!) and other lovely beaches. Communication with the owner was great and we had everything we needed for a fabulous week in paradise!

I generally believe that advertisements for holiday rentals will always be presented as better than what they really are. In this case, the complete opposite was true. From the moment of booking, Becky will make sure to do everything within her power to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. She is extremely friendly and responsive, and enormously helpful to make sure everything will fit your needs. I chose this place because we wanted a private pool to enjoy our first holiday with a baby, without having to be constantly on the move. It is the perfect place for couples, larger families or a small family like ours. Plenty of baby stuff at the house, such as a high chair, an audio monitor, a cot/play pen saved us from having to bring some large items while traveling. Becky will make sure to help prevent as much hassle as possible and we were provided with great information on what to keep in mind, recommendations etc. The house is very close to the airport, but we only rarely heard any plane noises. Harriet was there to welcome us in a wonderfully clean, spacious and beautiful house that really does feel like a home away from home, with fresh sheets on the beds and soft towels in the bathrooms. As much as I anticipated not having hotel-like service at a rental, we really did get that feeling. Harriet is extremely friendly and really was available whenever we needed her for sometimes the tiniest things. The pool was amazing, and allowed us to stay in and enjoy our time at the villa (with both sun and shade options throughout the day) which we alternated with some beach visits. We've been pleasantly surprised by the sight of monkeys, hummingbirds and fireflies in the garden. We ended up renting a car for two days to see more the island, which to us was enough, as most beaches are close enough to go by taxi. Our privacy was respected and all our potential needs were anticipated. I would love to give helpful feedback to make it an even better experience for future guests, but I honestly cannot, as our expectations were beyond exceeded. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The whole booking process was so easy and Emma was incredibly helpful throughout. The property is very well finished and has everything you could need, including weekday visits from Tamika who was just so lovely and kept the place looking immaculate. The house is located right on the beach, which was a fantastic scene to wake up to every day. Easy to get to many other destinations (we rented a car but taxis also very straightforward). We had the best time and would absolutely recommend this place!

Shelsea is a lovely family villa which easily accommodated 2 adults and 2 children 12 & 9. Sheila’s communication was fantastic prior and during our stay. The villa was nicely situated right next to the beach and close to the shops and other hotels. Ron and a gang of friendly monkeys met us on arrival . We had the pleasure of Vike the gardeners company as well as a lovely housekeeper Yvonne. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this beautiful again . Thank you Sheila, Ron, Vike and Yvonne x

We have just returned reluctantly from a fantastic stay at this lovely property in Rockley, Barbados. The villa is very comfortable, modern and has everything you will need to have an enjoyable holiday. The beautiful beach of Rockley is a 2 min walk, the buses that take you all around the island stops on the main road also 2 mins away, so very central. The villa is in a quiet street away from the busier beachfront, you can sit on the patio, have breakfast watching the birds and the odd monkey dropping by. Nothing is too much trouble for Wendy & Carey they live next door but do not intrude on your holiday, unless you stop for a chat. Buttons the dog welcomes with a wag of his tail. They recommend lovely restaurants Shakers, Tapas Bar & the Worthing Food court. We took a private island tour with James who was recommended by them, he also took us to the first day of the cricket and the airport for our return flight. I could go on and on about our trip, it was made truly enjoyable by staying at this lovely place. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at The View and it never disappoints. Fantastic location, glorious views, friendly staff and close to all the amenities. We had the most wonderful time and can’t wait to return.

Ocean Path Villa was comfortable, clean, airy and bright. We had plenty of space for the two of us, and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The kitchen area is really well-equipped, including what looked like a brand new fridge-freezer, plus microwave, oven, washing machine, kettle etc, etc. Una, the owner, was really lovely both before and during our stay, keeping in touch and helping everything to go smoothly. She even arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport on arrival (lovely Lisa, who is another gem!) and let us use her own apartment for a shower on 'changeover' day, Beaches are only a ten minute walk away, and Oistins fish market takes about 20 minutes. We had some great meals there, and if fish is your thing you'll be in heaven! We didn't hire a car, but used the local buses go get around, which was cheap and easy. We would definitely recommend staying in Ocean Path Villa - Una is the perfect host and the location is brilliant! It's also extremely good value for money! If we're lucky enough to visit Barbados again, I will be asking Una if she has any vacancies!
