Asprouliani villas

The house was in an excellent position for exploring the north west area of Crete. Nearby Kavros is walkable (if it’s not too hot) but only a 3 minute drive. Here you will find an excellent supermarket, tavernas and a few shops. There are also several beach bars along this stretch of beach. Georgioupoli is a 6/7 minutes drive. The house itself is extremely well equipped and very tastefully decorated. Plenty of storage in both bedrooms and the beds are very comfortable. The terraces are spacious and get plenty of sun. The pool is shared with 5 other properties, although we found there was rarely anyone else using it. The mountains to one side and the sea to the other provide stunning scenery. Excellent communication from the hosts and plenty of information provided. I would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in this area.

We enjoyed our stay not only at the house but also in the area. Many nice places and excellent food. We will come back next year

Una casa preciosa, limpia, bien equipada, y con una piscina magnifica. Contrariamente a otros lugares donde estuvimos en Creta este verano, la temperatura era tolerable pues está en el comienzo de las montañas. Sin embargo, hay playas increíbles a solo 10 minutos en coche, y por la noche pudimos disfrutar de agradables momentos en la terraza o junto a la piscina. Cuando regresemos a Creta, volveremos ;)

We have just had a wonderful week at this villa. The views are amazing and the house itself is immaculately clean and modern with very comfortable beds. The outside area is great with full sun until about 6 in the evening with plenty of shady spots and a choice of seating areas. Ten minutes away is a local village which has a shop that is good for basics. It's half an hour to the nearest beach and 40 minutes away from Rethymno, it's perfect for peace and quiet and far enough away from the tourist areas. Communication from Think Villa and the host was excellent and the complimentary meal was very tasty and greatly appreciated at the local Taverna.

We had a lovely week staying at Villa Maria. The Villa is well equipped and clean and perfect for our family of 4. The Villa is well situated to visit various beaches on the west of the island. We hired a car which I would suggest is needed as the property is location is in a small village with local amenities were a 10 min drive away. The property owner, Manolis is a very kind and generous host, our welcome pack was fantastic, he gave us an extensive list of restaurants, beaches etc to visit. He also provided a home cooked meal and ice cream during the week which was a welcome surprise! He couldn’t have been more helpful! I would recommend the Villa and hope to return!

Delightful villa with all of the amenities that you could ask for. Dennis was very hospitable and helpful. Great food venues around the area. Pool was a highlight! Definitely will be back!
