If you're not afraid to drive in the mountains this is perfect for a stay in Gran Canaria. Wonderful view down the valley, a well equipped kitchen and grill allowing to have really nice dinners.Just 15 minutes by foot from the center if San Bartolome with a great bakery and restaurant and a small shop that has all the basics (water, vegetables, etc.) and some great hiking routes near by.Only an hour by car down to the beaches in and around Maspalomas and Puerto Rico, or up the mountain to visit Pico de las Nieves or Roque Nublo.The host is easy to contact in both English and reacts swiftly and was able to resolve any issue we faced.Overall a great stay.

Beautiful little house in a breathtaking landscape

We had a wonderful time in San Bartolome. The house is clean and well furnished. The bed is really good. The kitchen has everything you need. The „masterbedroom“ and the livingroom are quite dark, which is probably a benefit in summer. There are actually 5 rooms ( kitchen, living-room, two bedrooms with a bathroom, one more bedroom). The rooms are not connected and you can only enter them from the patio. There is one heater in the livingroom (+ a fireplace). The aircondition in the bedroom can also heat. Those are very important things to know if you go there in winter. You will need them. Also be aware that the sun shines in the morning till -/+ 3 pm and after that the patio and terrace lies in shadows. You may want to use the whirlpool before, because it is getting colder very quick after the sun is gone and the pool is not that hot ;-) Keep in mind that you are in the mountains and it is always a little cooler here. If you are okay with that, you will love it here. Bring a car (there should be enough space for it on the street - there is no private parking, no parking in front of the house- you have to walk 50 meters to the house) You can also walk up to the village. It is not that far (10-15 minutes) but really steep all the way. You can drive there in 4 minutes - there is a free parking space, a little supermarket, a bakery and some café/restaurants To Maspalomas it is about one hour, +/- 45 Minutes to some nice hiking routes higher up in the mountains. We enjoyed our time here 😊

Faltaba iluminacion interior y exterior. Es necesario mantenimiento de algunas cosas que estan estropeadas, com interruptores, tiradores de cadena del WC, etc...

Ein sehr hübsches Haus in ruhiger Lage mitten in den Bergen. Der Whirlpool ist toll! Die Betten sind sehr bequem, Handtücher sind mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus ist eher einfach ausgestattet, aber grundsätzlich ist alles vorhanden,was man braucht. Die Außenmöbel sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Vermieter ist immer erreichbar und kümmert sich sehr gut um seine Gäste.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns super erholt.Vielen Dank für alles!

Reparaturen dringend notwendig

Für das Wetter kann niemand etwas, aber eine ausreichende Heizung wäre möglich. Für die dauerbellenden Hunde können die Vermieter auch nichts, aber sie könnten es in de Ausschreibung erwähnen. Das Haus ist wunderbar, aber braucht dringend Reparaturen: Dusche, Türen, Fenster… Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, es fehlt allerdings an brauchbarem Kochgeschirr. Insgesamt ist das Haus etwas abgewohnt. Die Lage des Hauses ist Inselmitte, das muss man sich bewusst sein, denn egal wohin man möchte, mindestens eine Stunde Fahrzeit. Gran Canaria selbst ist zum Wandern, Radfahren, Berge erleben eine Reise wert - den Strand und das Meer kann man sich aber nur mit unendlich vielen Touris teilen.

Desafortunadamente Michael no ha tenido una buenas vacaciones ni en la casa y en la isla. Siempre hago una llamada de cortesía y Michael estaba descontento por con los ladridos de perros en la zona. Pero a los 3 días me volvió a llamar y estaba molesto por más cosas. Cuando un huésped está tan descontento por tantas cosas , el ofrezco otra propiedad o le devuelvo el dinero por los días sin disfrutar y que el disfrutara en otro sitio de la isla. Pero Michael quería que le de devolvieran el dinero que yo le ofrecía pero que seguiría en la casa. Realmente le pido disculpa Michael, estamos mejorando y solucionando todo los que nos dicen los clientes.
