About this property

Double Room @The Red Cow 15 Mins to Cambridge

We have a range of facilities in our rooms
The property is found in the centre of the traditional English village of Chrishall. It is close to the tourist attractions in Cambridge, the Imperial War Museum of Duxford and Audley End House, as well as surrounded by beautiful countryside for walkers and cyclists.

The main Inn has a bar area where dogs are welcome plus a more formal beamed restaurant for diners.

There are two adjoining buildings housing our five guest rooms. The old barn, constructed around 1490, has a thatched roof and a timber frame. This has three rooms all with vaulted ceilings and plenty of character but with all the modern facilities you would expect from a 4* Inn.
In the second building known as the old post office, there are two further rooms, a double or twin with accessible facilities for those with additional mobility needs and another double, both again with all the expected facilities.
We provide refreshments, quality toiletries, WIFI, smart TVs, ironing board and a hair dryer in each room.

****We regret that we are unable to provide breakfast on a Monday morning as the pub is closed. This will be reflected in the price of Sunday Evening bookings****

Fantastic - good value, extremely clean and very helpful staff
Overnight stay while visiting my son. The dog stayed with my son but I would have no problems staying here with the dog. Previously stayed in the centre of Cambridge which was noisy and far more expensive. The room was spotless and we had a great walk in shower on the ground floor. Lots to do nearby -Duxford air museum was great for adults and children

A real treat
A great welcome in a lovely Pub, followed up by a superb dinner. A modern, clean and comfortable bedroom assured a relaxing sleep. The breakfast was to die for, with high quality and fresh ingredients. The black pudding was a sensation.
