About Steve Swords
Emily and I currently live next door to Quoit Green Apartment along with Tony our cat. We both work in the charity sector and enjoying Dronfield and its proximity to the Peak District National Park. We're very keen walkers, walk daily and try do a big walk at the weekend, either from Dronfield or in the Peak District.
Steve Swords purchased this Apartment in 2019
Why Steve Swords chose Dronfield
We moved here wanting a slower pace of life and to do a lot more walking and exploring a new area. It is a privilege to own Quoit Green House as it's a Grade 2 listed property built in 1613, with some elements going back to medieval times. We're still figuring out what changes have taken place over the years, but we understand that the apartment in the past has contained a much larger kitchen, a pantry, shelter for livestock, a garage, workshop and even a gym!
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment has plenty of room for 2 people to relax and unwind. Being only 2 mins away from 3 pubs with the White Swan and The Underground being a couple of really options. There plenty places to order takeaway or eat in, with The Blue Stoops being one of our favourites.
