Hidden away quietly within the conservation area of the ancient burgh of Tain, there are two cottages original built in 1648. Understated luxury is provided in the beautiful furnishings using high quality fabrics and linens. Each cottage has two bedrooms and a bathroom with an open plan living space with a small terrace overlooking the vegetable garden and pony paddock. There are some beautiful beaches in the near vicinity, lovely forest walks. Riding, golf and loch fishing can all be arranged.

Great experience staying at number 4. Jacqui provided clear instructions and was very helpful in providing beach towels (when we forgot to pack our own).
Cottage was clean and ample parking in the close or on the street. Tain was central location with great amenities.
Very convenient for local golf courses. Dornoch area, Dunrobin Castle and the Tarbet lighthouse were good places to see.
We are 4 friends rented this House for one month in July and havent regret about our choice. The cottage is a clean, well equipped and very stylish. There is everything you need to cook even books with whisky recipes😂. Rory and Jacqui are very hospitable and friendly hosts who solved all our small problems occured over the month. Strawberry and raspberry in the Garden were delicious 😀
Tain is a lovely town with a historical center and beatiful surroundings. The only problem was a very sparse schedule of public transport, so it is better to rent a car.
