Mike and Cher live in the Rocky Mountains outside of Denver Colorado . We love relaxing at our home in Colorado, our Hawaii condo and our new home in Florida as well as working on projects at all 3 places. When we have the opportunity we also love traveling the world. We are both retired now which give us the time to do the things we love.

Why Mike/Cher chose Kahaluu Bay

We bought this property over 14 years ago as we loved quiet peaceful relaxing setting close to the beach. The weather seems perfect to us. Never ultra hot with the breezes blowing and no snow! We looked at several locations before settling on our condo. We chose the Big Island as we like to get away from the major crowds, but still have the opportunity to do some tourist activities. The Big Island has golf, swimming, snorkeling, diving, great beaches (with white, black and green sand), a variety of boat trips, luaus, free hula shows, waterfalls, ancient petroglyphs, beautiful varied scenery and vistas, an Astronomy Center, tropical flowers, great coffee, shopping, galleries, zip lines, star gazing, Farmers Markets, Botanical Gardens, lava tubes, great restaurants, and of course the volcano. There is so much to do and we never have enough time, so I allows enjoy returning again and again.

What makes this condo unique

I always feel at peace when I step through the front door. I'm not sure if it is the relaxing colors, the flowers all around the condo, the trees blowing in the breeze, the birds singing especially in the morning, or just relaxing over breakfast on the lanai. I also love going to the salt water pool in the morning or perhaps trying my hand at a game of pool or just running around after balls on the tennis court, and walking down to the beach.
