Detached Villa With Private Pool & Amazing Sea Views on Monte Pego, Near Denia

The accommodation at Casa Kathleen is all on one level and consists of a spacious lounge, separate dining room with seating for six, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/ freezer, Microwave and Dishwasher. Two of the three Bedrooms have Air conditioning and the third has a ceiling fan. The master bedroom has a double bed and enjoys stunning sea views, it has a large en–suite bathroom with bath and shower over which has recently been replaced (2022). The second and third bedrooms have two twin beds each with ample wardrobe space. The house bathroom has shower, WC and sink and was also replaced in 2022.

The South facing Villa's terrace has ample sunbathing areas with stunning sea views, a six seater table for alfresco dining, shower cubicle with hot and cold supply and BBQ area. The villa has a private 8m x 4m pool which is professionally maintained weekly and enjoys delightful sea views. There are extensive gardens around the villa and covered parking for two cars.

The lounge has a 50" smart TV with UK freesat TV plus Spanish channels along with Netflix & Amazon Prime Video. Wireless internet access is provided (20Mb speed). A pool fence is available on request ensure the pool is safe when staying with small children and a high chair & cot is also available.

The property is located between Alicante and Valencia with both airports being only a little over an hour's drive away. There is a restaurant and a bar within the Monte Pego urbanisation and several other good places to eat and drink just a short drive away. There are plenty of things to do close by with the towns of Denia, Javea, Oliva and Pego which are only a short drive away. The closet beach is a 10 minute drive away. A car is essential.

The rental rates are fully inclusive and include internet, Air-Con, laundry, towels and cleaning at the end of your stay.

Full directions are provided for guest arrival and coordinates to find the villa. We use a local management company so there is a contact for any queries, questions or problems you have during your stay. A meet and greet service is in place for check in and check out (check ins after 10pm incur a 25€ local charge).

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Kathleen. The photos on Vrbo don’t do the property justice it is even more beautiful in real life. The villa, was immaculately clean, the decor was beautiful, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would find in your own home. The pool was fabulous, it was a pleasure to sit on the terrace and look out at the views. The property manager was extremely helpful, checking that we were ok and gave us great information on places to go. I hope that we will be able to use the villa again next year.

Fabulous villa!

Stunning villa with spectacular views, the photos don't do it justice! My wife an I stayed for 8 nights and the only negative was that we had to leave!Tracie, who manages the property was absolutely wonderful with lots of helpful advice throughout our stay and a pleasure to chat with.Hope to be back again soon and would definitely stay here again. 5 Stars!

We had an amazing stay here in monte pego. I would like to thank the host for their flexibility regarding late checking. Plus the host was very friendly and welcoming. The house has everything you need. Wish we could stay longer. I would love to come back with my family.

View of the Mediterranean

Our group, consisting of three people, moved into Casa Kathleen for just under a week. The view of the Mediterranean is a dream.It is necessary to have a car to visit the beach or one of the many villages. You will find one or more places for all activities such as hiking, culture and culinary delights in the immediate vicinity.This vacation was one that rekindled my desire to travel.

Lovely villa

We had a lovely week at Casa Kathleen. The view is fabulous, as is the outside terrace and pool. The villa' s living area is large, comfortable and airy. Everything worked and was well maintained. The villa is located close to beaches, shopping and Denia but you will need a car! We'll definitely return.

Great Villa with a lovely view

The villa is very clean and modern. Andrew the owner and Tracie who manages the property are both very helpful and flexible when I had to change flight times due to Easyjet cancelling. The villa is equipped with everything you need rather than just the bare minimum. There is a good variety of furniture on the terrace and the pool has a lovely view. I really can't fault the way it's run. Sadly for us we had noisy neighbours during our stay, but hopefully that's a one off. A car is a must for this location as you are up a fairly steep windy road, but the views are well worth it. We would stay here again if we was coming back to Denia.

Ein großartiges Ferienhaus

Wir haben mit sechs Personen, vier Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder, den Urlaub in der Casa Kathleen verbracht, ein großartiges Ferienhaus, dem es an nichts mangelt. Toller Pool, tolle Aussicht, gute Ausstattung mit Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern, vollkommen ruhige Umgebung. Direkt hinter der Einfahrt zur Montepego-Urbanisation ist ein kleines, gemütliches Restaurant mit leckeren Speisen und ausgesprochen freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Jederzeit wieder!

Alles war so beschrieben. Sauber, groß, sonnig aber auch immer grimmig Schatten und leichter Wind sodass die heißen Temperaturen gut auszuhalten waren. Der Pool ein Traum, die Aussicht unbeschreiblich und auch Meer und Strönde leer und nicht überlaufen. Perfekt!

Das Haus und die Einrichtung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber - es ist alles da, was man braucht. Auch die Lage und Umgebung ist toll - super Blick von der Terrasse aus, gepflegte und ruhige Nachbarschaft, viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in kurzer Umgebung. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch Tracie ist perfekt, unkomplizierte Kommunikation, super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Den Bildern im Inserat nach war es schon ein Traum. Und nach Bezug des Hauses wurde man nicht enttäuscht. Es war recht neu, modern und sehr sauber. Wir waren erste mal in diesem Objekt, aber sind überzeugt, wiederzukommen.

Super Aussicht

Wir waren bereits zum 2.mal in dem sehr schönen Haus. Es ist alles genauso wie beschrieben und wie auf den Bildern. Einfach Traumhaft. Wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wer Trubel sucht fährt mit dem Auto in 15min. nach Denia. Es fehlt an nichts, gibt jetzt sogar einen Gasgrill. Wir kommen wieder.

Traumurlaub

Das Haus ist einfach phantastisch. Sehr sauber und gepflegt, modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, alles Wichtige vorhanden. Die Lage ist toll, herrlicher Blick auf die Küste und das Meer. Mit Tracie hat man eine supernette und hilfsbereite Ansprechperson vor Ort. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit Weitblick

Wir haben im Mai knapp 2 Wochen in der Casa Kathleen verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer und der Verwalterin waren problemlos und unsere Fragen wurden rasch beantwortet. Bei der Ankunft gab uns zudem die Verwalterin zahlreiche Tipps für Unternehmungen, hierfür vielen Dank Tracie! Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Es liegt mit toller Aussicht nur wenige Minuten von mehreren Stränden und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. In der Küche ist alles Notwendige vorhanden und teilweise fast neu. An allen Fenstern sind hochschiebbare Moskitonetze, welche jedoch zur unserer Reisezeit nicht erforderlich waren. Eines der Highlights am Haus ist der Außenbereich, ausgestattet mit Terrassenmöbeln für 6 Personen, neuem Gas-BBQ und Blick über mehrere Küstenorte.

Fabulous Villa with Views

Just returned from a relaxing 11 days at this fabulous villa located on the Denia side of Monte Pego. Clean, modern and has everything you require for a great holiday. Spectacular views from the large terraced which accommodates a good sized pool, BBQ and seating area to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Fully recommend this villa for a great holiday location.

Hi I'm Andrew and along with my wife Pippa, we own Casa Kathleen. We live in Leeds and have a young son. We purchased Casa Kathleen in 2011 after falling in love with the Northern Costa Blanca and it's relaxed, laid back atmosphere- and of course the sunshine! We try and get out to Spain as much as possible and rent out the villa in the other times to help with the running costs.

Why they chose this property

From the moment you walk through the entrance door, the views from the terrace are breath-taking. The villa is elevated on the Monte Pego mountain so you can see for miles. There is a pair of binoculars at the villa and guest are welcome to use them!
