4 bedroom – 2 doubles with en-suite, 1 en-suite twin , 1 further twin + bathroom
Three of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The 4th bedroom has a bathroom next door. All the bedrooms are very well appointed and the en-suites have luxury bathrooms. Two bedrooms are upstairs and have mesmerising views across the valley. The other two bedrooms are downstairs, quietly tucked away at the front of the house overlooking the front terrace and meadow. The house is extremely quiet at night. There is zero traffic noise, no plane noise and no pedestrian chatter. You will sleep extremely well in our comfortable beds with linen from the White Company collection.
Damage and incidentals
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property that is caused by you or your party during your stay.

The hillside location gives beautiful views across the village and the rolling hills of the Lym Valley. The Cedar House also has easy access to the beaches and activities within bustling Lyme Regis. The wider area is stunning and is completely unspoilt, with lovely walks, vineyards (if you'd like us to organise you a private tour of a fab vineyard let us know at the point of booking), pubs and top-class restaurants. One popular bonus of booking The Cedar House is that guests get exclusive use of our vintage beach hut on the seafront in Lyme Regis. We bought this a few years ago - they come up for sale very very rarely. We had to offer a reward to find one ! But the beach hut will make your visit - it's a great spot to open a bottle of chilled wine and watch the waves gently lap the shoreline. There is ample parking for 3 cars in our private driveway, and further good public parking a one minute walk up the lane.
What makes this House unique
The house has been designed by the award-winning architect Annie Martin, with a very high attention to detail for all the finishes. Literally, no expense was spared as we use the house ourselves too and have spent far too many days in poor holiday lets. Whilst the design is striking, the house and garden is lovely and comfortable in any season. It's cosy in the colder months with a beautiful user-friendly log burner, and relaxing in the Spring and Summer when you can open up the huge sliding doors and let the outdoor views spill in to the house.
