About this property

Among vineyards, woods and castles you will find our home.
At guests' disposal there are two double bedrooms (with the possible addition of a single bed) both with private bathroom, TV, free Wi-Fi and safe: the "Elisa" room in particular rustic craftsmanship style, with parquet and ceiling in wood and balcony is equipped with a double bed with the possible addition of 1 single bed; and the "Gianni" suite with exposed roof, jacuzzi tub in the room, small private sitting room and balcony is equipped with a double bed and the possible addition of two single beds. Both bedrooms are available to guests with sheets, pillow cases and towels (3 per person) and courtesy kit with shampoo, soap, shower caps and disposable slippers. As a welcome for guests in both rooms you will find a surprise to toast at the beginning of the holiday, also for moments of relaxation, always in the room, there is a kit for herbal teas and tea.
The house is also equipped with a large kitchen room for lunch and breakfast, equipped with all the appliances useful for cooking (oven, hob, water boiler, etc.) and also equipped with dishes, pots, glasses, cutlery, etc. , towels, sponges and detergent, at guests' disposal you will also find the basic food for cooking (salt, various spices, sauces, oil and vinegar). Also on the ground floor adjacent to the kitchen there is a small laundry room with washing machine, drying rack and iron. On the first floor a small common room with balcony, sofa to brighten the moments of relaxation to devote, for example, to reading or to sip a relaxing drink.

Outside the house there is a large illuminated garden with a lawn. Adjacent to the garden is the swimming pool area: a small underground 6x4 1.4 meter deep swimming pool suitable also for children, a sunbathing area equipped with deck chairs and a relaxing shower to be used before and after swimming in the pool. In addition, always near the swimming pool, there is a covered area available for guests with a reed mat gazebo, suitably illuminated for the evening as well, with a table equipped with eight comfortable chairs to be used, for example, for outdoor lunches or dinners, and a stone barbecue. Finally, there is always a large parking lot in the private courtyard of the house.

A short distance from our house, about 1.5 km you can find a small Carrefour market where you can buy everything you need for the home and kitchen. Nearby guests can also find several typical restaurants to savor all our Piedmont specialties.

A lovely house with fantastic views

We enjoyed a great week in this lovely house. Great thought had clearly gone into the design and decoration with attention to some detail. There were a few minor details, however, which were wanting. There was no hand towel, tea towel or oven gloves in the kitchen. Knowing that towels were included in the rental, we presumed that also meant these and didn't bring our own. The very large, stone, shallow kitchen sink is attractive but impractical! We were obliged to use the plastic laundry bowl to wash up in, particularly as the dishwasher was not for use by guests. In the 1st floor bathroom, the large attractive, round, stone basin sits on a small cabinet so there is no surface or shelf next to it on which to put soap, toothbrush/paste etc. The basin in the 2nd floor bathroom has no plug and the wall around it is untiled so vulnerable to splashes. We realise the above points are all minor but running a holiday let ourselves, we are very aware that it's the attention to detail which makes a difference.

Beautiful location

Fantastic views and set in a peaceful location, with easy access to Milan,Turin,Genoa for wonderful days out. Property has everything you need for a great holiday.

Wonderful views

We arrived late afternoon and was greeted by Gianni who always had a smile on his face. We were shown around the house which covers three floors. Ground floor you will find entry lobby with toilet, washing machine, broom, hoover etc. Then into the open plan kitchen dining and lounge area. Up the stone steps to the first floor where you will find a seating area with dart board and to the right the first bedroom with king-size bed and the lilac bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Our son had this room and you had lovely views over the countryside. Next up wooden staircase you come to the master suite which is a lovely size with king-size bed which was nice and firm and another fully equipped bathroom. Lovely spa bath in the corner which we used a couple of times, it takes a while to fill and uses a fair bit of water. Views are more impressive from this level. All windows and doors have a fly mesh which was perfect as there were alot of gnats later in the day. The hose is secure through electric gates and the pool area was perfect for lounging around the pool. Gianni came every other day to clean the pool and make sure we were all ok. At night you could hear crickets and owls, the occasional dog barking and in the morning the cockerel over the way would tell you it's morning. A couple of church bells gave you the time every half an hour and these started at around 7am and finished around 11pm. We really did have a lovely stay and enjoyed the wine they gave us as a welcome gift. It was also my husband's birthday whilst we were there and they also gave him a bottle to celebrate. Well worth a visit. Thank you!

Beautiful house, welcoming hosts and lovely view

We had a wonderful 4 nights in this beautifully renovated house. The furnishings are beautiful, in fact the whole house has been tastefully decorated and restored with an eye for detail. We all appreciated the comfortable beds with fresh towels, shower gels and shampoo. Great to have the basics in the kitchen too, and the bottle of wine was very much appreciated after our long drive. We made great use of the pool and BBQ. Thank you for welcoming us warmly into your house. A perfect stay. Highly recommended.
