About Angela and Jose
Our Dad's family has owned this place for many years, sharing it with family and others over the years. Two grandchildren of the original owner are the current owners. Our Grandma bought the property after her hubby nearly drowned at a surf beach in Waihi while on a camping holiday. All seven of her children enjoyed holidays there as they grew up. For as long as we can remember we've visited the property, which used to have a gigantic single-trunked Pohutukawa tree on it, which was one of the second largest of its kind in NZ. Before being a bach, the original home used to be a dance hall and meeting place for business visitors at one stage. Once the tree crushed the old home and died due to fungal infection, the current home was built and completed around 1995. It has been in family hands since, first with the original family of seven siblings, and now the next generation down is continuing this wonderful legacy after recent estate matters. Siblings Chris and Angela are managing now, with Angela and Jose the booking coordinators.

Why Angela and Jose chose Ngarimu Bay
It has all you need for a wonderful weekend or a retreat location for hobbies, business or fishing. Great for the family market too, with kayaks and walks on the beach beckoning. A local store is nearby in Kopu, local takeaways, and Thames is just a short drive away.
What makes this House unique
