We liked that it was located right on the trolly line. It is a long commute into Bourbon St but that also made it feel safer and quieter.

Place was nice. We were upstairs and there was obvious structural issues with sloped floors and cracked walls. But, it was a nice stay and the old building was beautiful.
The shower floor and bathroom floor were slippery. No grab bars near the shower. Could not locate a stopper for the tub, unable to use.
I liked the fact that the place is located on the street car line. Very clean. Liked the front porch. overall, a comfortable place to stay.
It was hot when i got in the room. And also my check in was wrong. If it wasnt for the handyman i would jot have gottin the number to call the manager.

Place was clean except for stains in sink. I was given the incorrect door code but was able to resolve this with a quick call. Front door handle to exit was broken so I had to find an alternate route out of the building. (Staff member told me there wasn’t one.) Door handle was fixed quickly. Location was excellent and beds were comfortable.

The room was overall awesome. Beds were comfy. Location is far enough from the quarter to be quiet and safe but close enough that it doesnt take forever to get down to all the action. The street car takes about 15 min to get to the quarter.
The water in the bathroom does not get very hot for showers, even after running for a few min before getting in. The tub doesnt plug so we were not able to use it at all. A couple suggestions would be to have a table or standing shelf unit for more counter space in the bathroom, a full sized mirror somewhere would be nice, as the one in the bathroom isnt big enough to see yourself completely. Also another garbage can or extra garbage bags are needed for a stay longer than a day or two as no one comes to empty the garbage during the stay. Maybe a broom too so the hardwood floor can be swept from all the sand, dirt, and other things shoes bring in. The area was really safe as far as parking and walking during the day. We were warned by locals not to travel too far away by foot after dark. The building is secure and we never questioned our safety in our room. The trolly stop is half a block away and goes all they way to the french quarter, cemeteries, and city park. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back the next time I am in New Orleans.
