Pool time was very good. Tv was not easy even with the instructions. Unit was very nice and clean. We loved it and would like to stay there again when we plan our next trip to Maui. I believe we left the unit in good clean condition.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. Ideally situated, it met all of our needs (and then some!). Everything was clean, and the layout was perfect for our family of four. The property manager was top-notch and communicated so well before, during, and after our stay. We so appreciated the complimentary waters and coffee upon arrival :-) We love staying at the Whaler, and I would not hesitate to book this particular unit again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

Great condo!

We loved staying at Whalers 518! The condo was perfect for our needs, the amenities were great and the ocean was beautiful. The host was very easy to communicate with and very prompt with her responses. As a bonus, she had a wide variety of spices which was a welcome surprise!

This condo at The Whalers on Kaanapali beach is perfect. The unit has everything you'll need. Steps to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Thank you for a fabulous stay. Definitely will see you again.

Very Nice

Great location and facility. Generally very happy with this unit and would come back. To nitpick, the kitchen could have been better equipped, there were some stains on the carpet, and an issue with hot water coming out of the cold faucets in the bathroom.

Great condo in superb location

The condo was everything we expected, the views were even better than the online photos. For a studio it was very spacious and well equipped, the bed was comfy and appreciated the TV instructions although we didn't use it much. Had been to Kaaanapali beach previously so knew the area well, the Maui bus stops at Whaler's Village next door which was convenient to get to Safeway for supplies, the ABC store was a good backup. Would absolutely book again

Great room and centrally located next to Whalers Village. Walking distance to many spots along Kaanapali beach. Was not notified that parking is first come first served. Garage parking is usually full and overflow lots are really close so it wasn’t a big deal really. Would come back for sure.

Wonderful unit!

This was a great studio unit at The Whaler condo complex. It was very clean and had a nice view of the beach and the mountains/tennis courts. The couple things we thought could improve: the bathroom sink seems to only have warm/hot water. Also, the bathtub wasn’t draining well so we took it upon ourselves to clean out all the gobs of hair, which was a yucky task, but it worked like a charm and the tub drained fine after that. Note: we did not call for maintenance on the sink or the tub because we were not that bugged by it. Finally, the kitchen would benefit from another complete set of dishes and silverware, as well as some mixing bowls. Overall, a very pleasant stay and unit!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The carpeting was very dirty. Bathroom needed a good cleaning-drawers and grout dirty. the shower had an old faucet-hard to turn and adjust temperature-initial water was scalding hot. Outdated kitchen (with cheap basic utensils) and bathroom. Garbage can lid would'nt stay down and was icky.Basically a hotel room posing as someones residence.

Location is perfect! I've stayed in many different units at the Whaler for the last 20 years. We did have to put a sheet over the sofa and had a couple stained towels. Otherwise, manager was responsive and we would definitely stay there again.
