MIDMOD ON SIXTH - Fun retro house downtown!

If you’re looking for a kitschy, fun experience with real vintage decor, you’ve found it! This 60's insurance agency, turned midcentury modern house, is located 1/2 block to main street- walk to food, shopping & FHSU! There are two bedrooms, and one bathroom all on one floor (no stairs!) with a walk in shower and vintage blue sink. Kitchen with coffee, cooking supplies and farm fresh eggs (in season). Cotton towels and sheets. Enjoy the vintage record player and and a madmen style bar set.

Enjoy something different during your travels! Most of the furniture and items in the house are real vintage pieces. All bedding sets are new and the sheets are 100% cotton so you sleep cool and comfortable. Each bedroom has a closet with extra blankets and an extra pillow.

The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies, coffee, creamer and coffee maker. We have real vintage dishes for your use but also provide more modern dish options if you prefer. We also provide plastic ware for kids.

Enjoy the cotton towels and provided makeup towels and in shower wash cloths. Walk in shower and cute vintage sink! We supply body wash, shampoo and conditioner if you need.

The vintage record player is currently out of order but enjoy the teal suitcase record player on top! Try out a vintage record and come back and see what's new in the record collection.

This was the perfect stop for us on our long drive. Great location, very clean, and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and excellent. Highly recommend staying at Mid Mod when in Hays. Glad we stayed there instead of a hotel.

The property MidMod on sixth close to downtown Hays was fantastic. It is a fun property and is close to Fort Hays State, downtown and easy to get to. The parking is easy right out front. Larissa is a great host and takes great care of the property. I highly recommend this property if going to Hays or even just needing a place for the night on the way through.

The location of this property was great! Downtown, close to all of the shops, restaurants, and bars. Our family enjoyed our stay while in town for FHSU basketball.

Great spot for an overnight stay. Very clean and thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Street parking right in front of the house. A small backyard for our dog, although it's not fenced. Great neighborhood to walk the dog and only a few blocks from the park. The host was immediately responsive to an inquiry and very willing to be of help.

We played records on the record player that was like the one we had in the 60’s. The decor was absolutely charming. It was like my Mom and Dad’s house in the 60’s. The beds were comfortable and made me oversleep. This is a great place to stay for Missourians on the way to Colorado. The only mistake I made was booking it only for one night. Next time longer because I am coming back. I haven’t played all the old records yet.

Best place to stay in Hays, Kansas!

Once again stayed at the MidMod and was not disappointed. Everything was exactly how it was stated in the write up. Great location and within walking distance to Main St. Definitely recommend!
