About Becky Hostetter
I was born breech on November 23, 1951 and I think I’ve been backwards ever since. I read magazines starting from the back cover to the front. (I guess because I am left handed. But— then again—I bat right handed, so I suppose that makes me ambidextrous or maybe just all mixed up.) I love green things, but kill them regularly—oh darn. (Incidentally, I can’t abide fake green things.) I have a strong aversion to numbers; but letters, I love. Championing the underdog and picking up strays along the way has always been my weakness or maybe it’s my strength?? I have been more than blessed to have a loving husband and best friend for over 42 years and to have 4 amazing children (and might I add successful) that I consider to be our best friends. And we have 13 wonderful grandkids. My children (and their children) have all been homeschooled, and darned if they didn’t turn out to be fine and upstanding citizens anyway. Who knew? My passion? Hospitality, interior design & creativity! I am an avid lover of great books and here are a few of my favs: Mitford Series by Jan Karon (I rarely read a book twice but did so on this series and now listening to the Audible version and loving it!) “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” by Harriet Beecher Stowe (Why had I never read this amazing book until I was 65??) “Laddy”-by Gene Stratton-Porter (We discovered this oldie when homeschooling and it spoke deeply to us!) “Anne of Green Gables” by L. M. Montgomery (If Anne and I lived at the same time, I’m sure we would have been “bosom friends”.) “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles (This is my top favorite book of 2017 thus far and destined to be a classic, in my opinion.) Curt Wallander books by Henning Menkel (He is the master of atmosphere & suspense!) “Indian Summers” by (The PBS Masterpiece series is awful compared to the book.) Flavia De Luce Series by Allan Bradley (Perhaps an all-time favorite for me!) “Ladies #1 Detective Agency” by Alexander McCall Smith

Why Becky Hostetter chose Enterprise
Alley Cat was our third overnight rental adventure and what fun it was to remodel! It was formally an unused office space in our large Enterprise office building. One day we had an epiphany of what it should become! What a purr-fect little space to turn into a sweet, little, outside the box flat for “downtown” Enterprise. Just two summers ago that epiphany became reality and we have had many, many happy quests ever since. We are not only on VRBO but we also are on that other website that has Air in it!! We are no strangers to the hospitality business. In 2005 we bought a tired little motel in Pendleton and turned it into a very cute boutqiue destination. Rugged Country Lodge, during our ownership, was always rated #1 or 2 on TripADvisor amongst many bigger motels in the area! That same year we purchased The RimRock Inn, a restaurant 35 miles out of Enterprise on the edge of Joseph Canyon. Along with wonderful food and a unique dining experience , we had authentic tipis where our guests could overnight. In 2014 we concentrated our business on overnight guests, adding inside rooms to the inn’s restaurant. It became an instant hit and has been featured in many publications near and far. We believe our attention to detail, thinking outside of the box when decorating our unique properties, love of serving our guests and extra squeaky clean standards has always made our endeavors successful.
What makes this Studio unique
If you desire the extraordinary and want to shun the mundane than Alley Cat is one cool kitty you won’t want to miss! It’s an unusual rare find in a small paw print (about 700 square feet) and full of serendipitous surprises like: high end bed and bedding, original antiques & vintage pieces, one of a kind art work, bright & uplifting colors, eclectic upscaled decorating and a completely equipped foodie lover’s little kitchen. All this, and it’s right in the heart of down town Enterprise and next to the City Library. It’s handy, it’s cozy, it’s unique, it’s as cute a s a cat’s whiskers and we KNOW you’re gonna love our little Alley gem in Enterprise!
