Wine bar was welcoming and rooftop deck was amazing! Room was comfortable and charming. Location was great — very central to lots of food options. Would definitely return!

Loved this hotel - we were on the 5th floor with a great view of the river. Bed was very comfortable and the gas fireplace was cozy. Great location near Ft. George and other wonderful Astoria brewpubs.

Please read before renting this property. This is cited as an "historic" property. Well, I believe that this term was used to justify the poor condition of the property. When we first checked in, we were told that there was a "resort" fee, never mentioned anywhere else. It made no sense...it was a simple hotel. But it was required payment. We got to our room and we were first struck by the musty old smell. Then we were shocked by the lack of cleanliness, and the worn-out furniture (so called "historic" furniture still needs replaced on occasion!). We hesitated even sitting on it. The carpet was worn and dirty, and some furniture had contact paper (with bubbles) covering it. Walls were in need of painting and repair, wallpaper was peeling, the bedside tables had tops that were not attached and slid off. There was mildew in the shower. When we went to use the toilet, it wasn't clean, and someone had had diarrhea (I won't describe what we saw). The TV's were antiquated, with no streaming capabilities. This hotel was more expensive than others in the area, so we chose to go here to enjoy the property. Clearly, we were led astray.On the little positive side, the breakfast area and bar were nice, and the rooftop was neat. I have pictures of the property, but unfortunately, I don't see anywhere to upload them. I would not under any circumstances recommend this property. Its cleanliness and condition were like a 1-star highway hotel.

Amazing

What a great place, so localized to all of the happenings! The view. I don’t think there could be a better view. While not right in the water, the elevation gives you a perfect view of all! Front desk people are helpful and friendly. State in room 502! Your’rw welcome. You will love it.
