We live in Cornwall, which is a very special place. However we have found our 'Cornwall in Spain' as the Costa Calida is known because of its agricultural landscape. Now we are both retired we like to spend extended holidays in our home in Spain. It is surprisingly easy and quick to settle into a 'spanish' way of life. We play golf and enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach. My husband just loves to drive and we set off neither knowing where we will end up or what we may see but it is always interesting, sometimes frustrating but always memorable. At home in Cornwall we enjoy family time and entertaining friends. We like gardening and taking walks along the coastline.
Why Joyce Maclennan chose Puerto de Mazarron
We loved the position of our house although it was just a rectangle of tarmac when we first viewed the site. It seemed like such a gamble at the time but our builders were brilliant and the house was finished to a very high standard. Being from Cornwall we had to be within walking distance to the beach which made the position perfect. Because it is built opposite a planted mound it means that we are not overlooked by any houses opposite which is a real bonus. Strangely enough in Cornwall we live only 15 minutes drive from Marazion or Mount's Bay. It seemed that Marazion and Mazarron were so closely related in letters as for it to be a sign that it was meant to be.
What makes this House unique
We have views of the sea on one side and views of the mountains on the other. As the house faces South we have sunshine from sunrise to sunset which certainly adds to the charm and relaxing benefits. It is in a perfect location to return to after spending days on the beach or sightseeing as it is such a peaceful and pretty location.

Cancellation policy
- 100% refund of amount paid if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
- 50% refund of amount paid (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
- No refund if you cancel less than 14 days before check-in.
