APARTMENT MANUAL Welcome to Apartment 25, ul. Jana Kochanowskiego 12, thank you for choosing to stay here, we hope that we can provide you with a comfortable, convenient base during your stay in Krakow. The following information will help you find your way around the apartment and to make the most of its facilities. WIFI: Network: Karolina Password: Txm4GFJRSW In case you need to reboot it for any reason, the broadband router is situated in the dining room. ACCESSS: Keys: You only need one key which is for the door to the apartment. The gate into the building is guarded 24-hours a day by a doorman who will open it for you. If your party needs access at different times, you can leave keys with the doorman. Check-out: When you check out, please return the key to the doorman. Check-out is at 11am, if you need to check out later than this for any reason please contact Karolina and she will try and accommodate you. KITCHEN: Washing machine: You will find detergent in one of the tall cupboards to the right of the fridge. Please put the detergent in either the left or right part of the drawer (depending on the size of the load) and put softener in the middle part (if you use it). Set the temperature using the dial (there is a convenient 30-minute program called “mini 30” if you are in a hurry). You can dry your clothes on the folding airer which is kept in the walk-in cupboard in the downstairs hall. Dishwasher: Dishwasher tablets can be found in the cupboard to the right of the fridge. Please do not put the wooden-handled cutlery in the dishwasher. To use the machine, press the dial which will then pop out allowing you to set the program. Then press the button on the left of the control panel. Waste: The bins are in the cupboard beneath the sink. The large bin is for general waste, there is another for glass recycling and one for paper / card recycling. Rubbish can be disposed of in the building in the corner of the carpark. The blue bins are for general waste, the green bin is for glass and the yellow bins are for paper / card. Ironing-board: The iron and ironing board are in the tall cupboard to the right of the fridge. LIVING ROOM: Television: In order to use the television, first, make sure that the decoder is turned on (using the black remote-control) and then turn on the television using the silver TV remote-control. Then press the white button on the top left-hand corner of the TV remote control. DVD Player: To use the DVD player, use the silver DVD remote-control to turn the DVD player on and then use the white button in the top left-hand corner of the TV remote-control to select the correct input. BATHROOM: Shower: When using the shower, ensure that the knob above the temperature control is pulled all the way out. Cupboards: The cabinets under the basin have no handles, simply push them and they will pop open. Powerpoint: There is a powerpoint built into the right-hand side of the large mirror. HEATING: The heating is controlled by each individual radiator using the thermostat at the top, right of the radiator. If you need extra heat, you can find portable heaters in the walk-in cupboard in the hall. PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL RADIATORS ARE TURNED OFF WHEN YOU LEAVE.
