About this property

~ Your Hot Tub Awaits! Stunning View ~ Steps from Lake ~

This lake cottage is directly on the water. There is ample level parking right to front door. There are only 2 steps to the door, very convenient. Max three cars. There are three private queen bedrooms, also a open queen bedroom, and 1.5 baths. All bedding and linens are included. The master bedroom has it's own private balcony over looking the lake where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee. We are equipped with cable tv, dvd and vcr. There is a open kitchen and living room. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, silverware, dishes, wine glasses, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, microwave, toaster and blender. Also provided is a lock box for your valuables. Off the kitchen there is a large over the water deck with patio table and chairs. This a wonderful place to watch the alway's fabulous sunsets and the many humming birds at their evening meal. There is also a warm and sanitized soothing hot tub on this deck, a great place to relax and watch the boats idle by, the deck has child safety gates attached, from this deck it is only 5 steps down to a 24 x 10 boat dock, adjoining the dock is a large swim platform, with a ladder, table, chairs and lounge chairs where you can fish, sun bath, read a book or just enjoy being at the waters edge. There is also a fish cleaning station. If you are ready to BBQ there is a gas and charcoal grill provided. This lake cottage is truly a wonderful place for families, and fishermen alike to enjoy. Please bring life jackets, beach towels, sunscreens, water toy's and fishing gear and permits. Pets under 50 lbs considered. COME AND ENJOY!! We are only seasonal we close on Oct. 1st.

Best Renter I've Experienced

Mike was amazing about responding to questions and lending a helping hand when needed. It was great being on the lake. Love that we could bring all three of our doggos. The whole community was incredibly friendly. Plenty of sleeping room and room to just relax and chill with family.

Everything you need is right there!

Hands down the best most relaxing vacation I have ever had! Mike is a great guy and the property has everything you need. Fishing and swimming off the dock is awesome, Jacuzzi is clean and hot, house is comfortable and feels like home. We will definitely be back next year!

Relaxing stay

Four clean queen beds. Everything you need for an extended stay. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and deck, being able to stay in for meals or a short drive to a good restaurant. Plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. The hot tub was hot and clean. Yes, there is a tilt to the house but nothing horrible. Mike was a gracious host and met us at check in. Showed us the "quirks" of the house and gave us a warm welcome. If you are looking for something peaceful but close to the action, this is the place. We enjoyed the peaceful for a bit and were able to easily find the action, with Mikes help. The wildlife in the ares was a bonus for us too!

Perfect Setting

We had a Great Time!!! We spent most of our time at the cabin on the dock either swimming or fishing. We caught a lot of fish right off the dock including a 12lb Blue Cat. Would love to stay here again!

As advertised

House had everything you could need. We did have a 12 x 12 pop up canopy for the deck that helped a lot but was too big. I think an 8 x 8 would be perfect. Mike lives close by and would help in a heartbeat with any problems but we didn't run in to any. Our stay was too hot to enjoy the hot tub much but it was clean and hot. Great sunset views from the deck and/or the pier. Beds and other furniture were comfy and clean. Our group of two mid seventies, two mid forties, two 19 yos, two 12 yos and a small dog would return.

Perfect swimming dock

Great location! House has all the every day essentials you could need. Deck was nice and ladder not slippery (like most). Owner lives a few doors down and is there if you need anything. Hot tub was clean and very relaxing. I’m looking forward to staying here again 👍

Wonderful memories were made here

Everything was perfect from the hot tub to the swim dock to the diving board to the abundance of towels to the easy lake access. Our two families loved every part of our stay. Thank you, Mike!

Off Season Weekend

We spent 3 nights and everything was great. The cabin has a tilt which does add to its rustic charm. The hot tub was hot and clean, we enjoyed it a couple times. We fished and caught some right from the dock. Our stay was great and unexpectedly quiet. We will be back and will either rent a boat, seadoos for lake cruising or take up Capt. Mikes offer of a lake tour on his pontoon.

Good place to stay

Pro’s- property owner close and very nice so seems more secure and he was easy to contact. Great cove and dock to swim and hang out. Hot tub (even though we never got to use it , it looked very clean). Plenty of pace for a fairly large group. Great deck area. Good phone reception and WIFI. Con’s- house is outdated but clean and comfy enough. Has a slope towards lake so sleeping was a little weird. TV sound was in and out but we weren’t there to watch a lot of tv so no biggie for us. Never did figure out how to check in and check out but that’s probably me.

3 week family vacation

Had a blast. No problems with rental. Even had a paddle boat which I even enjoyed using with grandchildren. Husband and I found owner Mike to be a delight and hired him and his pontoon boat for a cruise and lunch a couple of times during our stay.

Peaceful and quiet (off-season)

Mike and Mary are wonderful to work with. Property is as described. Hot tub was great for an evening relaxation. We were looking for a peaceful retreat to unwind before the craziness of the holiday season. Will definitely return!

Great trip

Loved the location. Our host Mike was the absolute best - recommended places to eat (even joined us one night), took us out on his boat, found & bought is a life jacket for our 22-month old daughter, made us a fish dinner one night, and welcomed us to his home (two doors down) every night. Couldn't have been nicer to us. We can't wait to get back there!

Lake of the Ozarks

Great little cottage. Perfect for that quiet getaway. Off the main channel so it makes for a peaceful setting sitting on the deck or the dock. The owners are great to work with and quick to respond if there are questions. Overall we would consider staying here again on our next trip.

Perfect Location For Us

Location in a deep cove was perfect for us! Out of cove We could easily boat to Jolly Rogers & Coconuts to the right; to Paradise Parasailing, Bagnell damn & friend’s condo to the left and Dog Days, Four Seasons, Shady Gators & H Toads! No logs or debris on this part of the lake; house was right on the water just as it appears in pictures (very few steps) & Mike was a pleasure!

We love the lake, We like to fish, and to entertain and cook. We both have worked in the hospitality field for many years. We enjoy meeting people from other places. We alway's want to see everyone have a memorable experience at the lake cottage.

Why they chose this property

We chose this location because it is in a peaceful cove, the sun sets are looking out of the cove, it is absolutly beautiful also we wanted to be on the water and this lake cottage is at the waters edge. This cove is where the skiers seek to ski, nice calm water.
