Newly restored 1850s Catskills cabin, with a large new addition. Rustic and very charming, but sleek and clean and loaded with amenities.

Located on 10 very private acres in a breathtakingly beautiful little village called Elka Park. Five minute drive to Hunter Mountain ski resort, or to downtown Tannersville. Close also to Phoenicia, Woodstock, and Saugerties.

3 bedrooms with new memory foam mattresses and lots of closet/drawer space. 2 additional beds in the common areas. 3 brand new full bathrooms.

Brand new kitchen, fully loaded.

Strong wifi, decent cell service, and two big TV s with full cable service, plus Xbox and Roku (with all the premium channels). Sonos players for music. And a turntable with a great vinyl collection.

Gorgeous grounds, with views of the mountains. Bluestone patio, gas grill, big fire pit, huge meadow, and lots of wooded walking trails on the property to explore.

Amazing house and sprawling property tucked away from the world at large but close to local civilization for skiing, restaurants, etc. Incredible panoramic view(s) from the back patio with no modernity in sight. Elegantly rustic and cozily furnished for a stylish comfortable stay. Excellent, friendly communicative hosts who go out of their way to make sure everything is fine while giving space to enjoy getting away from it all. Looking forward to returning in person while revisiting often in memory, THANK YOU!!

end of year ski trip

great property. conveniently located 8 to 10 minutes from Hunter mountain. The house was great, very relaxing atmosphere. temperature controls in all of the rooms, including the basement (where the kids spent pretty much the whole time). grab a seat in the living room, stare out into the beautiful wilderness, daily visits from neighborhood deer. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to go skiing and be close to the mountain.

Great house, great location!

We rented this beautifully renovated cabin for a long weekend getaway for skiing at Hunter Mountain. Two families (4 adults, 4 kids) were very comfortable with enough places to sleep for everyone, and plenty of room to spread out between the great room, basement, and family room. The location is perfect -- peaceful rural setting and less than 10 minutes from Hunter Mountain, the grocery store and town of Tannersville. It had all the amenities you could need and was very clean. The renovation and decor are beautiful -- the pictures don't do it justice! We loved this house!

Can’t wait to return!

Our family had such a wonderful weekend at the cabin. Our 9 year old daughter said it best “just looking around in here makes me so happy!” The beds were amazing, record player was a fun bonus, and the view was truly magical. We saw two deer right out the kitchen window on the first day. It was great to unwind and the cabin offered a very relaxing experience. Location could not have been better for our skiing and tubing excursions along with a little hiking to see the waterfall. Thanks for having us!

Family New Year 2024

Pictures do not do this little cabin justice!!! Perfectly hidden in the woods , the backyard was amazing my boys enjoyed running outside , hiking, watching deers and foxes pass by. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle… the house had everything we needed and more. The house was very clean and spacious the downstairs was great for the boys they enjoyed playing with the magnet tiles!!! Pictures don’t do it justice everything is spacious and open … but also comfy and cozy !!! It’s perfectly located in between Hunter and Windham Mountain …town, stores, grocery no more than 7 min drive ! Very happy and looking forward to going back!

Ski Getaway

This is a beautiful house just minutes from Hunter Mountain. The property is gorgeous. It has a cooks kitchen, a wood burning stove, a pleasant office area, and a sort of “kids cave” with a giant tv, sofa and bean bag chairs. The great room is really nice. It was really comfortable with different spaces to let our whole family spend time having fun both apart and together. We hiked to see the falls nearby and went skiing at Hunter. It was also really clean. Fantastic warm place with good vibes.

Beautiful house on great piece of land!

This house is truly a gem. Beautifully restored and decorated, impeccably clean. The large meadow is perfect for kids and the fire pit is great, too. Beautiful views!

A week of peace

Jonathan could not have been more solicitous, emailing to see if everything was ok, to see if we needed anything, just perfect. The house was very nicely done and the area was extremely peace, just what I was looking for.
