The Healy House - In the Village of Hamilton


*****Please note that we are booked for Graduation 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029**** We are also booked for Family Weekend 2025 and 2026**** Experience the beauty of Hamilton in this spacious three bedroom home that is located in the village, a five minute walk to the center of town. Feel free to entertain family and friends in one of the many inviting seating areas. Options include an all season sun room, comfortable living room with fireplace, cozy upstairs gaming nook, large kitchen and a dining room that seats eight.

*Mobility friendly entrance with a bedroom on the first floor. *

This is the perfect location as it is less than a 5 minute walk to all of the local restaurants and shops. On the busy weekends you will be able to park in our driveway and walk downtown before you will find a parking space in town!

We are located on a quiet side street, off of one of Hamilton's main streets.

BEDROOMS:
There are three bedrooms. Bed sizes: 2 king beds and 1 queen bed.
All bedrooms have televisions, fans and hardwood floors.
Sheets, blankets and pillows provided.

BATHROOMS:
Two bathrooms, one with a tub and one with a standup shower. Towels and toiletries provided. Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer and Dyson Airwrap Styler available.

KITCHEN:
We have a beautiful kitchen with hardwood cabinets, quartz countertop, stainless steel appliances, a Keurig, a Nespresso maker and soda steam. The kitchen also has a television for entertainment while eating at the kitchen island. Coffee provided.

DINING ROOM:
The large beautiful wood table has seating for eight.

Wireless internet and Dish Network cable throughout the house. Netflix, HBO MAX, Prime Video, HULU, Peacock, Apple TV and Disney+ are available on the televisions in the Sunroom, the Livingroom, the upstairs seating area and the main bedroom facing the road.

Felt like home!

We had a wonderful stay at Clara’s place, it was clean, very well appointed and filled with art and books. The beds were clean and pillowy, the kitchen well stocked and the location convenient to town. We enjoyed the back patio and spacious well maintained backyard. We’d love to stay here again one day.

Weekend at Colgate

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at The Healey House. The house had plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 2 dogs. The location is on a quiet side street that is convenient to downtown Hamilton (and is a short drive to Colgate). The property was nicely decorated and we felt right at home there. The host was very responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again.

Wonderful stay

My friends and I were only in town for one night, and we wished we'd been there longer. Clara's home is beautiful and inviting. She provided everything you could need. It's in a great location just a short walk to the downtown area filled with cute shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at the Healy House!

Fabulous Location and Home in Hamilton

The Healy House is as perfect as possible for anyone visiting Colgate or the town of Hamilton. Close to in town eating options (and the best cocktail bar in town - Martha's on Madison), a short drive to the grocery store and just a block away from the start of the Chenango Tow Path - the house is in the perfect location. Three bedrooms, a lovely living room and great kitchen -- thank you Healy's for offering a Nespresso coffee maker along with the Keurig. Not shown on the listing is the backyard with grill -- which was put to great use. Thank you Healy's for a great stay.

Reunion home

The Healy house was just right for us and our friends. We drove to Colgate campus as our husbands have minor mobility issues. However we were close to downtown and local businesses which made it convenient to walk The house is well appointed for entertaining too….we loved sitting in the sun room and enjoying coffee in the am before heading off for the full days of Colgate reunion activities! Wish we’d had a bit more time to enjoy the house and patio!

Perfect spot for visiting Colgate

Clara was a wonderful, responsive host. When we needed to change our date, it was no problem. The house is really nicely appointed, clean, comfortable with everything you could need including complimentary beer in the fridge which couldn’t have been more appreciated on a three day college tour trip. Town is a quick walk away. I highly recommend this house and Clara as a host if your travels bring you to Hamilton.

Colgate reunion

Three fraternity brothers with one wife enjoyed the property. Since our meals were provided by reunion we didn´t do any cooking so it was only a place to sleep and hang out late in the day. Very convenient with plenty of room.

Don’t hesitate to stay in this gem! Clara is an awesome host, providing great information as well as a home that is cozy, comfortable and completely updated. We have stayed in several VRBO's all over New York. This is one of our favorites. Beautiful house in great location near everything. It's very clean, and I'm a fussy nurse! Wonderful house

This is a wonderful house. Hardwood floors. Open layout. Very pleasant to be in. My wife and I stayed with three 16-18 yr. olds. Lots of space. We had other families over for dinner. Easy to have dinner together and space to separate parents and kids into separate rooms after dinner. Hosts and check-in super easy.
