You have discovered the perfect little island retreat with daily sunsets overlooking the island waterway and peaceful salt marshes! Water views from every room in this inviting home. Waterfowl and deer abound in the backyard. Professionally decorated in colorful island style. You will feel like this is a cozy, inviting home with it's tropical art and bright colors, not just a beach rental.

Custom kitchen with all you need for grilling the fresh local seafood, or entertaining family and friends. Four-person blue tiled bar for relaxed indoor dining. Or eat out on the large screened deck overlooking the water and smell the sea breeze. Or dine on the upper deck too with dining table and rocking chair! Take a walk to Bonito Boathouse, or use the free custom golf cart and enjoy a night out at one of the other island restaurants. Golf is right down the street as are the Fripp beaches!

Scenically located at the top, and in the center of the island, right on the inner coastal waterway. Close to all the island's amenities. Just steps to the marina pool, which you can see from the two front decks. Nearby are the fishing docks and kayak/boat launch. You can use the double kayak that comes with this house to explore the island's waterways, say good morning to the dolphins that abound in our marina waterway. A couple of minutes by golf cart to the beach, Camp Fripp, main clubhouse, two golf courses, tennis, gym, and local restaurants and beach bars.

Wonderful House with an Incredible View of the Marsh!
Great place to relax and enjoy an amazing view of the marsh and tidal creeks. Everything you need for your stay including a really nice golf cart for exploring Fripp. We’ll be back!

Host cancelled my reservation day before check in without my approval
Host cancelled my reservation and rebooked it for different dates without my approval. We booked Sunday-Sunday. Saturday at noon(day before check in) she says there’s a mistake, and we need to check in Saturday and leave the next Saturday. I live 10 hours away so that’s not possible. She said she had a new family checking in the next Saturday and didn’t want to upset two families so she was not changing their reservation. We would have lost over 2 1/2 days of our trip and I offered to check out by 7 AM Sunday. She said no so we had to at the last minute find someplace else to stay on Fripp Island with our four children. I would not agree to changing my dates so she said she was canceling my reservation. She will not respond to my messages or to Vrbo. Vrbo has reached out with no response.

Very nice stay
We enjoyed our time here and on Fripp Island. Did some off island trips for horseback riding at Camelot Farms which has just been bought by Fripp Inc. Also a boat ride out of Beaufort and the Gullah tour on St. Helena. Everyone on the listing is accurate and good communication with owners when we had a question. There is a house going up right next door but suspect it will be done in next few weeks. Great sunset views and lots of bird watching. We also took advantage of the golf cart and went around the island and to the beaches all the time. There is a great access point right back over the small bridge to the beach. We got great fresh shrimp at Gay Seaford on the way to Beufort (they have other great fresh caught fish too) and great lunches at the Foolish Frog. Highly recommend the FF. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was overall calming and restful.

Great Golf Get-Away
My wife, her brother, sister and I (all in our 70s) had a great stay. We enjoyed the stunning sunsets off the decks and terrific golf courses on the island - we played 5 rounds. The house was clean and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you'd need. We had a wonderful 2 week vacation!

Perfect stay for couple and baby
This was a perfect home for my wife, one year old baby, and myself. The views from the deck were amazing, especially sunset. The golf cart and bikes were great as well. The host was extremely communicative and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again!

BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS
The sunsets from the back deck were absolutely beautiful. The house was very clean and well stocked. Great location close to the Marina Store and Bonita Boathouse. We had a little issue with the golf cart but Claire was quick to respond and got it taken care of without any interruptions to our daily schedule. The only thing that was a negative for us was the check out list of items that required cleaning and that it was not included in the description prior to booking. It made it hard to relax the night before and morning of check out. Overall, the stay was nice and we enjoyed the property.

Our stay was horrible! We checked in on Thursday, October 6th and by Friday October 5th around 4:00 PM, we were asked to leave by 5:00 PM because other guests were checking in. Needless to say , we were taken by surprise. We are all senior citizens, age ranging from 63 to 72. Having to leave do abruptly was an unexpected experience. We’ve rented through VRBO for greater than 20 years. We’ve never had an issue with over-booking, cleanliness of the rental no fees deducted. We were on vacation the mere fact that we were put at risk leaving that late in the evening with a 4 hour drive was horrible! We’ve never been treated so shabbily. This should never be a business practice of any company. I don’t want to play the race card, I feel certain this service or lack off would never happen to any other race. This experience left us in a terrible state. I pray and hope this never happen to any other guest while at a VBRO rental. Too matters worse, there was construction going on with concrete trucks and noisy workers. By all rights, the house shouldn’t have been rented . No peace and quiet for the one day, before they gave us the boot.

Refreshing Spring Getaway
Our family of four loved our stay on Fripp Island. The house was the perfect size for us and featured beautiful views and all the amenities we needed, plus reliable internet for remote working. The sunsets are indeed memorable and we even noticed that the marsh made interesting noises as the tides changed. Birds and deer abound if you enjoy wildlife. We rented kayaks and explored the river that you can see from the back decks, although one is also provided at the house. Having bicycles and the golf cart at our disposal made exploring the island easy, and you can also walk to the beach if you have the time. If we come to this area again we would definitely return to the Herbert's beautiful property!

Amazing view!!
Loved the location,l! This house has everything you would need for a great beach vacation. Golf cart, bikes, beach chairs and grills. We love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked! The outdoor spaces were exceptional and the interior of the house was super cute with comfortable beds. We hope to book this house again. My family had a great time!!

Very nice property in a great location. Little confusion on location of beds. There is a double bed w/ full bath on the first level off the kitchen / living room. There is a king bed / master on the upper level at the back of the house with two queens and bath at the front of the house. Great views. Totally accommodating. Loved having the golf cart. Lots of fun.

The property was quite nice and was in a good location outside of high season. It was clean and had a great view of the marsh. We had some trouble gaining access because word of our coming had not reached the gate.

Another Great Fripp Trip
We've stayed in this area on the island before because we love the sunset views over the marsh. This property did not disappoint. It was clean and well appointed. Would recommend.

Beautiful views
The house was just as described. The sun sets over the marsh right outside your back door. We used the back decks every morning and every evening to watch all the wildlife! House was clean and had mostly everything you will need for your vacation. Bring extra blankets if you’re anything like me and like to sit under a blanket on the couch in a cold house. The mattresses are firm but comfortable. We really enjoyed having a golf cart available to scoot around the island. The beach is just a few minutes away by golf cart ride. No need to bring beach chairs; there are plenty available, along with a cart, an umbrella and beach toys. Claire made sure everything was taken care of (car passes and amenities cards) even though I booked extremely last minute. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this home again!

Wonderful stay
Fantastic home! The views of the marsh and creek are amazing! Very close to the marina. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Kitchen has everything you’d need. Bedrooms were beautiful and perfect for our family of 6.

WE FLIP ABOUT FRIPP!
We have stayed here several years and we love it.Great location,lots to see on the marsh and the marina. Well stocked kitchen. WIFI works, though we didn't use it much. (too much to do on the island). Owners are awesome, lots of toys in the garage. Beautiful beach and very close.Hope to return for many years. We are 2 adults traveling with 4 young adult children.
