- Hiking and biking on newly created trails away from the great Wild Atlantic Way. The Burtonport - Railway Trail starts below the house. Numerous beaches, it should be the most beautiful in Europe, cliffs and islands. These include the island of Aranmore (within walking distance), Inishfree (on-demand ferry) and the traditional island of Tory Island (ferries).
