Named in the 2004/5 Peugeot Golf Guide as the best course in Portugal. Quinta da Ria. 15 minute drive. Same guide states this is the second best course in Portugal. Benamor. 15 minute drive. Based on an original design by Sir Henry Cotton. Located in open countryside with views of the ocean and the mountains. The new course at Esuri, just 10 minutes away in Spain is worth checking out. In June 2007 the new Jack Nicklaus signature course at Monte Rei opened, approx 10 min drive away. In October 2007 the new Seve Ballesteros course at Quinta do Vale opened, less than 10 mins drive away. Plus many more. Golf packages, pre-booked courses, car etc available via. Proluna. Please ask.

• Notes on accommodation: The villa lounge, annexe and all bedrooms have air-con/heating. There are full size cots and 2 high chair Bedding and towels are changed weekly and the villa is cleaned at the end of stay . Additional laundry and cleaning can be done at extra cost . All towels including pool towels are provided.There are hand held hair driers . There is an ironing board and iron in the annex . The whole site and facilities - pool, games room , orchard etc. is exclusive to the single party making the booking : nothing is shared . Outside: Grounds of approx half acre. 7m x 4m private heated pool with sun loungers. Covered barbecue area with stone furniture. Secluded shaded patio with stone furniture (see photos). 2 roof terraces offering complete privacy. Landscaped gardens. Orchard, normally having oranges, lemons and other fruit available to eat.
