Beautiful House with Private Pool and Stunning Mountain Views

Notes on accommodation: Sleeps max 12. 5 bedroom beautiful French house, set in breathtaking countryside, very close to the thermal spa town of Capvern-les-Bains. The thermal season starts 4th April until 29th October. The property is situated in a very pretty village which has stunning views of the Pyrenees and in particular the Pic du Midi. Local activities include canoeing, golf, walking, cycling, horse riding, sightseeing, water parks, caves, chateau’s, street markets and good food! The street market in Lannemezan in every Wednesday morning. Approximately 1.5km away is the casino where there is a good restaurant, health and well being beauty spa, and outdoor pool. The pool area at the house is decked and has sunbeds and chairs and is secure due to a fence all around it. A great place to chill. The house has under floor heating both upstairs and down as well as a wood burning stove which is situated between the lounge and dining area. We find this to be very warm in winter yet cool and airy in summer. Outside: The gardens are well established and very pretty. They are tended to twice a month during the summer season. The outdoor pool is private, but not heated. We find that the heat from the sun will make your dip pleasureable in the summer months. There are a number of sunbeds, chairs and a small table by the pool. The paved patio area runs the length of the left hand side of the house. There is a 6 seater patio table for dining outside and a barbecue. The front of the property has a large lawned on either side of the driveway. The driveway is gravelled and there are double electric gates as well as a small wooden gate. The whole of the property has a fence around it. A stroll out of the front garden will take you on some lovely walks. Turn left to walk down into the centre of the village and then through the fields into open countryside. The garage underneath the house is very spacious and has a variety of childrens toys/pool toys. There is also plenty of room to park a car. Utility Room: The utility room off the kitchen houses a large Fridge/Freezer and a Washing machine. The ironing board and iron plus all cleaning and laundry equipment are kept in this room. The tumble dryer is in the garage which is under the house. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels apart from pool towels are provided, as is the linen for the beds. The property is cleaned and fresh bed linen is provided on guest changeover day. For guests staying longer than two weeks, we will arrange a change of bedding and clean of the house Other: The spacious dining area has a large solid wood table which seats 8 people (there is space for more however). The hallway lays off the dining room where there is a door to the garage underneath the property and also a door to the downstairs WC.
