Notes
- Simon and Penny live in the converted barn next door so if visitors require any extras they will be happy to help. A well-behaved dog is welcome and a travel cot can be provided for toddlers. Please note short term breaks are available at a nightly rate out of season. The renovations include all the latest insulation technology and comply with building regulations and the listed building requirements. The interior therefore includes many old features, beams and exposed granite quoins whilst being warm and comfortable. Tregonebris lies in the heart of the Bolitho Estates and the surrounding fields are home to 90 head of beef cattle.

Ask a questionAbout Penny Rumble
Simon and I came to Cornwall in 2008 and bought Tregonebris Old Farm as a series of cattle sheds and an old dairy. We devoted two and a half years to the careful renovation of the buildings and the Old Dairy is now a successful and attractive holiday home. We wanted to give holiday makers a feeling of space and freedom so the cottage has large rooms and there is a huge field in front. I am also a full time artist and my studio is in the converted piggery. Everyone is welcome to browse in the studio/gallery. Simon and I live next door to Dairy Cottage and we love this tiny hamlet in West Penwith which is so quiet and rural and yet so close to the sea.

Why Penny Rumble chose Brane
Both Dairy Cottage and our own farm building are listed. They were built in the 17th century of huge blocks of granite and are typical of the Cornish vernacular style. The buildings are full of atmosphere and early features. We love living here and feel totally a part of Cornwall's ancient heritage.
What makes this cottage unique
Dairy Cottage has gorgeous views across the fields. There is a wild wood with a dashing stream across the lane and one can step outside and walk to ancient sites such as a Stone Circle and an Iron Age village. The buildings are nestled in a valley and protected from the full force of the winds. We are four miles from the south, west and north coast so one could say - the area is almost an island! It is a perfect base for exploring this far western edge of Cornwall.
