Cancellation Policy
- 100% refund if you cancel at least 14 days before check-in.
- 50% refund (minus the service fee) if you cancel at least 7 days before check-in.
- No refund if you cancel less than 7 days before check-in.

We are Carol & Phil and our home is Magpie Lodge to which Rookery Nook is attached, but completely private. We have been welcoming people to this lovely part of East Anglia for several years, and enjoy meeting our guests. You will be greeted with a warm welcome, and then left to enjoy your stay without further interruption, unless you ask us! Situated in the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders, on the edge of the pretty market town of Diss, we are centrally located in East Anglia making it the ideal base from which to explore all parts of this beautiful part of the UK. With a fast direct train service into London it is also easy to spend a day sight seeing in the capital.

High season bookings are Friday to Friday, but sometimes we can be more flexible if you ask. Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire offers a wide variety of attractions including beautiful beaches, historical houses, unspoilt countryside, traditional towns, charming resorts, miles and miles of coast designated "of outstanding natural beauty". Walking & cycle routes are accessible just yards from Rookery Nook (eg (Boudicca Way is only 800yds away) , and further afield beautiful forests and heath lands. Rookery Nook is also 5 mins drive from the famous auction rooms of T.W.Gaze regularly shown on BBC antique and auction programmes. And 10 minutes drive from internationally renowned Foggy Bottom garden owned by the Bloom Family, with the adjacent Bressingham Steam Museum and Dad's Army collection. Beautiful and historic villages of Lavenham & Clare are 40 mins drive.
