Seaside Private Villa + Heated Private Swimming Pool.

On the south coast of the island of Gran Canaria, in the area of Las Burras-El Veril Beach, this bright and cozy house on the edge of the sea is the perfect refuge to enjoy the Atlantic and impregnate the sun of the Canary Islands. The geometric architectural style property was built in 1990 by the famous architect Angel Colominas, author of Yumbo Centrum, the most popular commercial center of the LGBT community in Europe. It is composed of two floors and roof terrace with 360 degree panoramic views over the bay and the famous Maspalomas dunes.
From the Hamburg street you can access the villa through a jadin shaded by a spectacular tree of rubber "ficus elastica roxb" of more than 6 meters high. Once the gate is cleared and the main door starts a vertebrate corridor that leads to the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room that opens a glass door with aluminum frame to the porch and the outdoor terrace where the beautiful and flirtatious private pool is located .
The villa has 55 square meters built on a plot of 220 square meters. The gable roofs in the living room and one of the rooms combine skylights in the bathroom and the kitchen providing permanent jets of light throughout the house. It has two bedrooms, one with two single beds, built-in wardrobe, bedside table and lamp, a comfortable Palm Beach style and a chair by the window that overlooks the garden and is oriented to the north. The other bedroom is the master bedroom with a double bed and two bedside tables with their respective lamps, mirror and a large built-in wardrobe in addition to a modern white armchair. The furniture is enameled in black and on the bed there are oil paintings that defend the beauty of the human figure and demonstrate the artistic vocation of the decoration. It is also oriented to the north and the window overlooks the garden.
The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet and is close to the rooms. In a corner is the washing machine and towels and a set of creams and gel for the toilet are supplied.
The kitchen next to the living room is small but well equipped with all the utensils that any chef needs. It has a ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender and juicer.
As for the living room, it has been inspired by the beauty of Mallorca's handmade ikats in tury blue and many shades are juicy tones are white. Both this room and the master bedroom overlook the garden. with a wooden table and iron structure with 4 chairs, accompanied by a Provencal sideboard inheritance of the owner family, a beautiful Indian artisan mirror, oils by Eva Risueño, a convertible three-seater sofa, a recliner and center table It is located in the quiet urbanization of El Veril, a short distance from the urban center of Playa del Ingles with all kinds of shops and brands, restaurants around the world, tapas bars, discos and fashion clubs, casinos, cultural centers , churches, playgrounds, water parks, zoos and a wide range of leisure and entertainment activities.

Beachfront villa
Between San Agustin and Playa del Inglés. Right on the promenade so excellent for joggers/ walkers/ cyclists etc. Beach within 5 minutes walk but pool is great and very private. Rooftop terrace for beginning and end of day too! Car probably needed for groceries etc. but you could do without if organised.

A sorry house in a poor state and a owner who is hard to contact
Where do I start with this review? The problems started when I tried to contact Jose the owner, he just wasn’t replying to my attempts to contact him. Despite 2 messages (through VRBO own site) 2 emails and 2 Texts, the only time I could get contact with him was through my complaint to VRBO who contacted him for me, I had to do this twice. All I wanted to know was how to gain access to the villa when we got there and this was only managed 1 hour before we left for the Airport. When we did arrive, the directions were not all that clear to the Taxi driver, who had to ring Jose twice to find the villa and get the house number. The driver was more than a little peeved at Jose to say the least, but if wasn’t for this nice man going the extra mile, I don’t think we would have found it. Once we did get to the villa, we were left standing outside with our cases at 10.30 at night for 20 minutes as Jose (by his own admission) had been watching a football presentation on TV. Once we managed to get into the villa things got worse as it was obvious that general maintenance had been lacking for quite a while, but even more disturbing was the 4 dead cockroaches on the floor. We later found 4 more in the waste bin cupboard and 1 in the pan drawer, I also killed 2 running across the room. The Villa had a vile stench of a very strong insecticide which the owner told us came from the fact the Villa had just been sprayed hence the dead roaches. The lack of maintenance became obvious with the

Lovely place
This is a beautiful villa in an absolutely perfect location. There is so much outside space and you can hear the sea. The owner left plenty of cleaning products towels and loo roll. Reviews that say it's a bit tired feel unfair to me. It's a period property and has a rustic charm. We will definitely stay here again

Great location but...
The location of this villa is superb, walking distance between St Augustine and Maspalomas with the promenade right outside the back gate. The villa itself is very tired, the kitchen especially. There is no air conditioning either and the two fans provided (one in living room and one in twin bedroom) were not sufficient, overnight it was very hot.

Great Location
Would I recommend? Yes. Would I go again? Yes. Impressions, I’m guessing that the photos were taken several years ago when first listed and now needs maintenance, the pool pump is very noisy couldn’t hear the sea couldn’t talk to each other when outside had to keep turning the pump on and off manually. I’m guessing from the looks of the timer is been broken for some time. Property is clean and tidy. Jose was very flexible on arrival and departure times. Location is great 2/3minutes walk to a sandy beach. 10mins to the shops 20mins to Playa Del Ingles

This house since the time in which tourism was implanted in Playa del Ingles and conserves that architectural style of the first urbanizations of few units that were made then to welcome mainly Nordic, British and German tourists. The different rooms are bright and generous in amplitude. The feeling of comfort and the sound of the sea and its refreshing breeze envelop everything.
