Ask a questionAbout Daisy Laramy-Binks
Hi I'm Daisy, I'm 32 years old and love nothing more than a cosy weekend away in the country, especially if it involves a good gastropub and a dog walk with my chihuahua and french bulldog duo. In my spare time I enjoy horseriding and windsurfing (both of which are great in the Cotswolds!). I speak Italian and enjoy escaping for an occasional weekend break to practice my language skills and stock up on Bolognese! I think a holiday cottage should be as warm and welcoming as your own home; I aim to offer my guests an environment that feels like the perfect balance between the luxury of a chic hotel and the comfort of a cosy hideaway. I look forward to welcoming you! To help make sure guests enjoy their stay and booking experience I have employed AirSW to help manage this listing.

Why Daisy Laramy-Binks chose Fairford
Wishbone really is ideally situated to enjoy all the charms of the Cotswolds, just 15 mins from favourite places to visit such as Bibury, Burford and Cirencester. It is easy to visit all surrounding areas such as Stow on the Wold, Cheltenham, Painswick, Tetbury and Oxford with a pleasant drive from the property. Fairford itself is a sweet typical Cotswold village with local stores including Boots and a grocery store providing your day to day amenities on your doorstep. The local Bull Pub is a couple of minutes walk from the front door and provides a chic dining venue which has been highly praised by the likes of The Guardian.
What makes this Cottage unique
The cottage is situated in the Cotswold Water Park area in a river village - just near the property is a path straight into the water meadows towards the church, affording delightful strolls and walks to neighbouring pubs and sites. There are an unbelievable number of great quality gastro pubs in the nearby villages and so many beautiful landscapes and timeless quaint locations to see. The cottage itself, as a C16th bakery building, retains so much of the original charm of the property without being full of heavy dark beams - it has a warm, cosy atmosphere with careful attention to detail in the restoration, ensuring that your stay will be both comfortable as well as providing you with all the modern comforts to make it that little bit more enjoyable. The garden is lovely to sit in in the summer months - nothing like a bbq beneath the wisteria using local meat from the butchers in the square.
