Situated in a commanding position with wonderful sea views The Chalet provides very comfortable accommodation for two. The bungalow is positioned on the hillside above the the village of Downderry which is about 8 miles from Looe. The village has tea rooms, a restaurant and a pub restaurant situated right on the beach. You can buy fresh bread, milk and various cupboard staples from Bewshea's restaurant. The walk from The Chalet to the various amenities in the village and to the beach only takes about 5 minutes - perhaps a little more on the way back up the hill. The nearest shops are in Looe, a 15 minute drive away.
Parking for The Chalet is in the immediate vicinity and the bungalow is approached down a flight of approx 30 steps. Further terraces lead down from the bungalow these comprising grassed areas with shrubs etc. The accommodation is arranged all on one level and includes a large living room/bedroom, a small but well fitted kitchen and a shower room. The main living room has large patio doors which lead on to the fabulous furnished terrace and deck, a perfect spot to enjoy a meal outside whilst taking in the superb views to the sea and coastline around Looe Bay. The living room has comfy seating for two, a dining table and a double bed. A flat screen TV with Freeview and a Playstation and DVD is provided and there is also a CD/radio. The kitchen has an electric cooker with 4 ring hob and oven, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment. Lastly the shower room is equipped with walk in electric shower, w.c. and basin.
The Chalet is an ideal spot for guests seeking peace and quiet yet well situated for local facilities and the beach.
