St. Simons Island hotels

Very easy check-in. The owner was very communicative and had the house lit up when we arrived. We didn't get a chance to use the bikes but hope to stay again so we can take advantage of the convenience. Very close to family living at Magnolia Manor, which is a strong selling point. Also part of a larger neighborhood for good walking and walking distance to a nature preserve with a beautiful view of the marsh.

Relaxing, private, pretty, well equipped property. Lovely outdoor deck. All dealings with Mellette were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo has been interior designed to fit the surrounds perfectly. Had all the mod cons one needs when on holiday. Only problem we had was getting onto the wifi which had been recently changed. Communication with Amy rectified this via the local supermarkets public wifi. We did try contacting the management couple regarding connectivity but as yet still haven't had a response. However we managed to get all up and running ok for work purposes and then was able to get on and enjoy the local area. Would definitely recommend St Simon's Island.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were a few issues upon arrival and we made the office aware of these. There were no hand towels or washcloths. The trash can was disassembled in the middle of the kitchen floor with no trash bag in it nor were there any extras left. The ceiling fan cord was broken (in the bedroom) and left laying on the dresser. The condo was perfect for 2 people and we enjoyed the island and of course the food! Thanks! Tracy & Darryl Hobbs
