P3 Welcoming 1-Bed Apartment with Attractive Garden And Swimming Pool, Free WIFI

Hi there This is a great shame because if you had let us know at the time of your booking about your wife's limited mobility, we could have proposed the second apartment we operate in the same residence, at the same price, that is all on one level and happened to be available at the time of your booking. We're always sad to read when our guests haven't been fully happy during their stay especially when no communication was made at the time of booking - we will always do the maximum we can to put things right especially if we are informed about a guest's worries as soon as they arrive. For example, we'd have been more than happy to make things easier for you re. the space issues you mention by coming to move the sofa bed you say was in your way. We're sad you didn't give us that opportunity. Some of your other concerns we wouldn't have been able to resolve, such as the layout or location of our apartment which is very clearly detailed in the description and photographs, and of which we make a point of giving as accurate a description as we can. The nature of the stairs being 'open' and position of the bathroom are not concealed in our details or images, and we therefore feel sad that those have formed part of your negative review of the apartment. We list the location as 20 minutes' walk from town, and we are confident that this is an accurate description: the bustling Place de Verdun at the heart of La Rochelle, with the central bus station and eateries and cafés, is just 20 minutes' walk from us. Many people forget that La Rochelle is actually a large town, and there are many many parts of the town that are much further from the centre than we are. Many of our guests tell us how much they've enjoyed escaping the immediate bustle of the centre at the end of a busy day exploring, shopping, dining, beaching, sailing, etc. As a note, the lounge sofa has since your stay been replaced as part of a standard review we undertake on a regular basis, so this is no longer an issue. Regarding the capacity, we regularly host families in the apartment you stayed in without any problems, and the vast majority of comments we receive from previous guests are thankfully very positive, but we remain very regretful that yours was less so. We note that you make no mention of in your review of the welcome wine, card and other essentials we left for you - I hope some of these went some way to making your stay more pleasant.
