Long Bay is a quiet rural neighbourhood of Providenciales. It offers a tranquil diversion from the more tourist trodden paths of Grace Bay. Long Bay Beach itself is a short 5 minute drive and is a large stretch of beach with beautiful white sands and hardoly any visitors. The water is warmer on this side and the waves are shallow and calm, providing excellent swimming opportunities. Kite boarding is also an extremely popular activity on Long Bay beach due to the prevailing southerly winds. It's less than a 5 minute drive to the kiteboarding beach.
Long Bay Canal which runs at the end of our property is home to many indigenous species of fish and is safe enough to swim in. The natural 'bush' which surrounds the cottage is home to many birds and some amazing plants, we have wild orchids, mahogany and lignum vitae trees. It is truly "Beautiful by Nature".

About Sarah Haywood
My husband and I have lived in Turks and Caicos since 1996. When we moved to the islands we lived at the end of Sea Sage Hill Road and fell in love with the tranquility and rustic nature of Long Bay. Eventually, we bought this lot and developed it as our family home.
Sarah Haywood purchased this cottage in 2003
