HI ! I am a french (and of senegalese nationality too) filmmaker and writer, I live between Paris and Dakar, I have two kids, a girl and a boy, my daughter already has 4 kids ! I make documentary films primarily, have made a lot in Sénégal, about artists, musicians, filmmakers etc. as well as about ethnical groups, and I have written several crime stories set in Sénégal, the last one between northern Sénégal and New York City. I love my apartment, it was my first apartment as a young woman, 40 years ago, and I just renovated it and moved back in ! It's lovely, so particularly quiet, in the middle of greenery, and in the heart of my favorite Paris area, the Marais.
purchased this Apartment in 1978
Why chose Archives
When I was young, having been brought up in the (at the time) very chic area of 16th, I dreamed only one thing, to move back to the Marais, my favorite place in Paris. I got this apartment in 1979, when I moved out with husband and kids in 1986, my grandmother moved in it, and then we rented it. I just got it back, now that I'm in Paris more often, and I am so happy about it. The two terraces really make a huge difference.
