Beautiful dog friendly 2 bed apartment in East Sussex village right on the beach
Relax in this tranquil getaway in beautiful Pevensey Bay, East Sussex. You are right on the beach, within walking distance to great village pubs and restaurants and a well stocked friendly village store. Sovereign harbour marina is just up the road, the South Downs are to the rear for fantastic walks and views. The property has 2 bedrooms, a lovely open plan kitchen/lounge/diner. There is free onsite off road parking for 2 vehicles. It is a very peaceful spot but close to Eastbourne, Hastings and Brighton.
For those with furry friends, the beach is dog friendly year round and is sandy at low tide. The village pubs are also dog friendly and there is a dog friendly Italian restaurant at the marina. The downs, a short drive away, are great for walks and there is a pub at Beachy Head. In the nearby village of Pevensey, which you can walk to over fields, there is a Roman castle, an ancient mint house and jail and a Norman church. Hastings is along the coast to the East-you can get a train there from Pevensey Bay station. The old town there is beautiful with a lovely fishing heritage and lots of old pubs and great restaurants.
Eastbourne is to your west and is a nice town with lots to do. Brighton is a vibrant seaside city further west which also offers plenty to do.
