Su cabaña privada con vista al campo de cultivo en una propiedad histórica de 1898 frente al río Skagit y muy cerca de AWESOME La Conner. Esta cabaña está ubicada en el valle de Skagit. El cuarto de arriba es una cama tamaño queen + adorable 1 persona o niños. 1er piso vista luminosa sala de estar, cocina completa, baño y lavandería. Aparcamiento seguro + Internet de alta velocidad. Típicamente una hora al norte de Seattle.

Esta cabaña privada se encuentra en una propiedad de 3 acres en medio de las tierras de cultivo de Skagit Valley con una granja victoriana de 1898. La cabaña tiene vistas privadas sobre las tierras de cultivo, con la luz del sol brillando en grandes ventanas desde la mañana hasta la tarde. Disfrute de la cocina completa y del café, té y bocadillos de cortesía. Los propietarios pasan gran parte de su tiempo vendiendo bienes raíces en el Valle, pero es posible que los vea trabajando en el patio o en los jardines.

¡Los gansos de nieve están aquí! Puede ver y escuchar a los gansos de nieve alrededor de la isla de Abeto hasta marzo. Hay muchas oportunidades para tomar fotos. Gansos de nieve, cisnes y águilas calvas migran aquí en el invierno. Es posible que escuche a los cazadores de aves migratorias en la distancia en una mañana de invierno.

En invierno, hay una mesa de agua alta alrededor de la propiedad; a veces, el césped puede estar empapado en algunos lugares, así que prepárese si sale al césped cuando está húmedo.

The Skagit farmland is so calming, the bird life is soothing, the property is absolutely restful!!! and Don provides everything imaginable for a comfortable and welcoming stay!!! The morning greeting from the chickens was especially enjoyable!

This place was awesome! Every single detail throughout the cabin and property was so thoughtfully done and put in, its very apparent that Don & George take great pride in the place. We loved the coziness and comfort the cabin provided, as well as the suggestions for places to eat. We saw a beatiful sunrise and sunset. If we come back to Washington State, we will absolutely try to stay here again. Thank you Don!!

Idyllic Property

This cabin so comfortable and well out-fitted. Don and George have thought of everything a guest might need or want. It has a beautiful view of the spacious and well-maintained yard and beyond that the golden wheat field and beyond that the tree-covered hills and finally, the mountains. It's quiet and private. We felt we could really relax there. Excellent location for exploring Mount Vernon and La Conner.

Never stay long enough!

I have stayed here so many times it feels like home the minute I walk in. Complete relaxation, peaceful/beautiful setting. I need to stop running around looking at scenery and take the time to walk the many trails available. Truly one of my very most favorite places to stay. I look forward to my next visit!

Absolute perfection! We enjoyed our stay here immensely. Relaxing from the moment we arrived with fantastic views of the surrounding fields. Glorious sunshine. I wanted to stay forever

There is so much to love about this absolutely, charming cabin. It was exactly as pictured, with two walls of windows looking out across the farmland and gardens. I must have said, “this is so gorgeous” a dozen times. Truly the perfect setting to unwind and fully appreciate the beauty and solitude. The gracious host came out to welcome us upon our arrival despite it being dark and pouring rain. The cabin was spotless, very comfortable with nice furnishings, and nothing was left out down to the smallest of details. From fresh flowers on the table, to fascinating books on Skagit Valley history, to bird feeders out the window, everything was so thoughtfully planned. There was even a pair of binoculars, which we took with us along our walk on the levee, and were rewarded with close-up views of a bald eagle. It was more than a cabin; it was an experience. I will fondly remember this beautiful cabin, and gracious host. Given the opportunity, I would return in a heartbeat.

Lovely Country Getaway

This cozy cabin is nestled in a very secluded part of the Skagit Valley. You won't hear anything except for the occasional chicken, tractor, and (depending on the season) snow goose. We stayed for one night in February and could tell the hosts are experienced at staging homes, with all sorts of fun decorations and attention to detail that many other short term rental hosts overlook (Hotel Collection towels, complimentary snacks, spare mouth wash, higher quality soaps, high quality robes). If you stay in the winter, be sure to place the fan downstairs and point it upstairs to even out the cabin's temperature. It can get cold given the amount of windows, but the views are well worth it.

Delightfully cozy and decorated cabin, tucked into a serene slice of nature. We loved the indoors of the cabin but also thrived in the surrounding grounds. Plenty of great birdwatching and beautiful grounds. Excited to stay here again in other seasons to take in the beauty. The hosts had great suggestions and warmly welcomed us during our stay. Can’t wait to return!

The cabin was delightful, charming, and immaculate. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and very welcoming. I especially appreciated the bowl of goodies and the careful instructions so that we would know how to leave it. We would love to come back and get to spend more time here.

We had a lovely time at the cabin. I didn’t want to leave! Don and George have made such a lovely retreat on their property, surrounded by beautiful farmland. We were so happy sitting inside looking out the windows, watching the birds in the trees, and wandering outside to look at the surroundings and visit the chickens. While we didn’t indulge in many of the treats they left us, it sure put a smile on my face to find them. I hope to come stay here again!

This was our second stay at the property! All I can say is it was wonderful! Quiet peaceful setting, close to LaConner and all the really great restaurants. Such an amazing and beautiful place. I hate to share all these details because this place is booked constantly! I hope we can return for the third time soon!

Awesome Cabin!

Me and my family spent a few days here and it is such a homey place! It's a great location to see skagit valley and beyond. Such a beautiful place. The owner is very nice and has many great reccomendations of things to do and see on their website. Will be making a return trip in the future for sure!

Heavenly stay

I highly recommend staying at the cabin. The hosts do everything they can to see to your comfort, and the location is marvelous. It's surrounded on three sides by fields and is blissfully quiet at night. You can see snow geese and trumpeter swans when they migrate through. And it's only a short drive to La Conner, Mount Vernon and the tulip fields.

This little cabin nestled amongst beautiful landscaping and plenty of wild birds to enjoy was the perfect place to relax and visit with friends in the area. Plus...getting to feed the chickens was a real treat. The space was neat, clean and outfitted with all one would need. Will absolutely stay again......Thank you Don!

Amazing

If you're ever headed to the PNW, make this Mount Vernon property a must-stay! The cottage was immaculate, with so many personal touches added for our comfort. Don has created a beautiful place to enjoy the spectacular Skagit Valley scenery and is in a good location to reach many favorite tourist points. We will be back!
