Thanks for the review
We were a family of 5 adults who stayed 3 nights in this spacious apartment. It was very clean and close to the wonderful Ponte Vecchio bridge as well as many good restaurants. Eleanor greeted us at the apartment and made sure we understood lights, locks and other amenities. We had a GREAT stay here and highly recommend!

Traditional Italian apartment.
The apartment itself was as advertised. Very spacious and comfortable. Only problem was the check in process. Nobody was there to greet us or let us in the apartment, even though we stated or arrival time. Very frustrating after a long day of travel.
Thanks for the review, we hope to host you again! As relates to the check in issue that it has been highlighted unfortunately there was a misunderstanding on the procedure to follow. Everything was solved in 15 minutes. We usually ask the clients to contact us as soon as they arrive in front of the building, in this case we could not reach the clients due to the impossibility to have an available number to call. The clients effectively entered in the building but they did not ring the bell, so for the person in charge of the check in it was impossible to know that they were already in the building. Despite all, after few minutes the person in charge for the check in solved the situation. We always recommend to bring with you an available mobile phone in order to be reachable.
Florence trip in July
The apartment is very nice and large in a wonderful area. We brought our 2 boys, ages 8 and 9. It was extremely hot during our trip and the A/C worked wonderful. The building is so nice and it has a lift.
There is a piazza right down stairs and we ate 2 meals at quattro leoni and loved it. The gelato place is amazing and so are the aperol spritz at the cafe/bar.
We also loved how close we were to Santo Spirito. That was an amazing plaza and the best foccacia sandwiches from gusto panini.
But, the reason I only gave 3 stars for accuracy of online listing is because that wonderful little piazza down below is very loud at night. It is a happy loud, full of fun people, but with parents of 2 young kids, we did want some sleep. It stayed loud until 12:30am/1am. We did join in with the crowd around 8:30pm and it is fun, but the apartment was too loud for us and we all had horrible nights of sleep. The road that goes though the piazza is also a main bypass for cars and scooters. You can hear loud cars go passed all night.
We can’t ask for a better place than this one. The check in process was smooth. The location is excellent. Florence is a walking town so where ever you stay, you will be able to walk to your destination. The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms were a bit small. By Florence standard, I think it’s about right. We had a chance to cook one meal (breakfast) but otherwise, we went out and ate. Everything worked out perfectly for our family. We will definitely come back.
